Happy Monday! I have the next release from Lurid Lacquer on my blog, and it’s the Three Oaks Road Collection!

There are more polishes releasing along with these, and I will have another video up around the 7th. If you followed or purchased from their initial launch, they sent out GWP’s for the first 20 or so orders. Those GWP’s actually make up the next release! So if you’ve seen some of those GWP photos floating around – that’s what you have to look forward to!

You can also check out this collection on YouTube if you want to see them swatched:

As I said in my previous blog post… this is a brand you’ll want to watch for. Right now they do not have a Facebook Fan Page – so you’ll want to check them out on Instagram to see more swatches (they are very active on there) and future releases.

Let’s jump in. These do release March 15th, so you have several days to prep for this launch.

Lurid Lacquer | I Await You, Friend

I Await You, Friend is a cool toned brown jelly base with large particle aurora shimmer that shifts from silvery pink to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

If you have a strong VNL – it will likely show through this shade.

Lurid Lacquer | Out On Your Street

Out On Your Street is a vibrant chartreuse jelly base packed with gold to green to blue aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The maker does have a stain warning with this shade – I personally did not experience it but I’m not really prone to staining with my gel nails (unless its a rich purple… those stain me the most)

Lurid Lacquer | Amid The Insects’ Lulling Serenade

Amid The Insects’ Lulling Serenade is a moss green jelly base packed with aurora microflake that shifts from orange to gold to green and chartreuse light reflective glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Despite being a reflective, this shade isn’t very textured. Depending on the thickness of your application – you may not need a glitter smoother.

Lurid Lacquer | I Smile At Your Footfall

I Smile At Your Footfall is a hunter green jelly base with green to blue aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lurid Lacquer | The Refuge of Your Presence

The Refuge of Your Presence is a cool-toned pink jelly base with gold to green aurora shimmer that shifts to blue at extremes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lurid Lacquer | Our Laughter Carries On A Warm Wind

Our Laughter Carries On A Warm Wind is a coral jelly base with vibrant aurora microflake that shifts from orange to gold to green and coral light reflective glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Again, despite being reflective – this shade didn’t require a glitter smoother for me. If you used thicker coats, you may need one – but it’s not that textured.

Lurid Lacquer | The Sky Above

The Sky Above is a clear base with gold, green, orange, and blue iridescent flakies, micro holographic flakes, and silver light reflective glitter. I used 2 coats, glitter smoother and a glossy top coat for these photos. The final photos shows 1 coat over a black creme.

Lurid Lacquer | Tall Grass, Enveloping

Tall Grass, Enveloping is a cool, sheer, medium brown crelly base with large particle gold to green to blue aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade has a sheerer base and relies on the shimmer to give the illusion of opacity. If you have strong VNL – it will show through this shade.

Lurid Lacquer | The Sanctuary of our Love

The Sanctuary Of Our Love is a cool pink crelly base with glowy red to copper aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lurid Lacquer | Three Oaks Road Collection

Much like their initial launch – I am very impressed with the formula and application and overall performance for this collection.
