Color Of The Month Duo

Ready for some new Girly Bits? I hope so, because tonight I have the Girly Bits December 2016 Color Of The Month Duo to share with you!

bottles

For December 2016, Girly Bits has a lovely green and rose gold duo! Both shades are well done, but for me personally, one stood out just a little more than the other!

Let’s take a look.

Xmas & O’s

xmas-and-os

Xmas & O’s is a sparkling rose gold foil finish shade with silver flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.

I absolutely adore rose gold shades!

Grandma Got Run Over By A John Deere

Grandma Got Run Over By A John Deere is actually the shade that really caught my attention and I kind of what to see this exact type of polish available in more colors.

Grandma Got Run Over By A John Deere is a gorgeous green jelly base (Pam describes it as a shade somewhere between Dill Pickle and Pine… but I’m leaning more Dill Picklish) with a strong copper shift and holographic micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

While I really do love rose gold shades, Grandma Got Run Over By A John Deere just wins it for me. The shade itself is interesting and unique and the name is just perfect. I had no application issues with either shade.

Ordering this month will be a bit different. Usually the Girly Bits Color Of The Month Duos are available twice a month, at the beginning and again towards the end. For December only, these shades will be available to purchase all month long. You will have your first opportunity on December 6th at noon EST and that window will stay open until December 31st at 11:59 PM EST

Price: $12.41 USD

I do have 2 more new shades coming up tomorrow from Girly Bits as well… so keep an eye out

Gorgeous! My favorite is Grandma Got Run Over by a John Deere, too. I’m a sucky for that strong copper/pink flash. Gimme more!

I like both shades. They’re twists on the typical Christmas shades

Great Christmas shades. I like how she stepped out of the box with these.

Love the swatches Lisa!! I am so glad you like them. It was fun to step away from classic holiday shades but still offer something seasonally appropriate.

I love how you put the two images of the polishes side by side. Both colors are beautiful.

Pretty color but they don’t look very Christmasy to me.
