Girly Bits Bass Ackwards for September 2015 A Box Indied

I have the Girly Bits shade for September A Box, Indied to show you today and this is a very fun themed box! The theme is The Backwards Box, so the makers involved all created a shade that isn’t their normal style. Girly Bits has created Bass Ackwards!

Bass Ackwards was a difficult one for me. This is a neon thermal polish. I already told Pam she was an evil genius for creating this polish.

Why? Well, let me ask a few questions first.

Have you ever tried capturing the correct shade of a neon polish? How about 2 different neon shades that freak out your camera? Ok now try to capture 2 neon shades that freak out your camera that happen to be thermal in the middle of August.

Last night was a fun photographing night.

So let’s take a look at Girly Bits Bass Ackwards!

Bass Ackwards Cold

Bass Ackwards is a neon red leaning coral to hot pink thermal with gold shimmer mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

When cold – it’s a stunning neon red leaning coral. When hot – it’s a beautiful hot pink.

The colors are actually a LOT more neon in person, unfortunately it’s August and hot as heck here, so I had to rush with photos. In some of the cold photos you’ll see “patches” of pink. That’s because it kept trying to transition back to its hot state before I could get a picture.

I did grab a quick video of it to show the change as well..

Girly Bits Bass Ackwards is an exclusive shade for the September 2015 A Box, Indied and will not be available outside of the box.

September’s box will also feature shades from Serum No 5, Crowstoes, Hare Polish, and Black Cat Lacquer.

This is very pretty! Somehow I’m always quite drawn to pink/orange combos!

Holy Moly that’s bright lol. I always have a hard time with thermals too and always put off swatching them lol.
