Color Of The Month Duo

How is it that I am always like “Yeah! I’m ahead of the game!” and then suddenly I see “This releases today!” and I realize I’m not as ahead as I thought. Where is the time going? I had these swatches ready last weekend, but the week zipped by and here we are.. launch day! Today the Girly Bits August 2016 Color Of The Month Duo is releasing!

The previous 2 months of the Girly Bits COTM shades were a bit hectic due to the Canada Post strike. The first installment of this series was in June, so it’s still fairly new. June brought us 2 lovely cremes and July brought us 2 bright shimmery holos!

Let’s see what August has for us!

Girly Bits Dancing In The Moonlight

Girly Bits Dancing in the Moonlight is a saturated medium blue, low density holo, with a pink flash, and green shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Girly Bits Sun Dog

Sun Dog is a light golden copper shimmolo, with bronze micro flakes and copper shimmer. My camera kinda spazzed out with this one! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Girly Bits August 2016 Color Of The Month Duo Overview

Both shades are shimmery and sparkly, but not overly so. The base colors are still the star of the show. I had no application issues with these shades and both were perfect in just 2 coats.

This duo will be available twice this month.

The first launch will be a 5 day unlimited pre-order beginning on the 6th of each month and running through the 10th, and will begin shipping on or before the end of the pre-order and follow the Girly Bits usual turn-around times.

The second launch will be on the 24th of the month and will be limited in stock. This launch will run until they are sold out or until the last day of the month, which ever happens first. Any stock remaining after the last day of the month will be put into the mystery bags, or given away on Freebie Fridays, or Giveaways.
