Summer 2016 Feline Catty? Collection

I was hoping to have this post done this morning before work, but commute traffic had other plans (yay for taking over an hour to go 15 miles!) so now I’m typing it up on my lunch break! I apologize if I make some minor typos, I’m stuffing my face while I type. Today I have the Fair Maiden Polish Summer 2016 Feline Catty? Collection!

This is a 7 piece collection inspired by kitties with ‘cat-itude’ from some of our favorite Disney movies. Fair Maiden wanted to make this collection bright, bold and fun to express how they see each of these vibrant characters and their larger than life personalities.

I’m a cat person, so I was excited to see this. I have 2 of my own (there were 3, but old man Rusty left us 2 years ago)

The one on the left has a little attitude, but the one on the right just wants belly rubs.

Anyways, let’s get on with these polishes! Here is the Fair Maiden Polish Summer 2016 Feline Catty? Collection

Nala

Nala is a light brown linear holographic with a blue flash of shimmer and turquoise hex glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Of course, we all know Nala from The Lion King

Dinah

Dinah is a vibrant magenta with a violet flash and turquoise shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dinah is from Alice in Wonderland!

Rajah

Rajah is a bright melon orange with a blue flash, violet shimmer and gold holographic bits. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Rajah is from Aladdin! Who remembers all those “bad” things Disney allegedly snuck into movies? I remember a lot of them, and honestly every time I think of Rajah now, I can hear the Aladdin one! It sounds like Aladdin says to Rajah “Good kitty, that’s a good kitty… (whispers) now take off your clothes“

Scar

We have another The Lion King kitty in this collection – and that’s Scar!

Scar is a bright jade green creme with shimmer that shifts from red to violet. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Si & Am

Si & Am is from Lady and the Tramp. This is a vibrant medium blue holographic with bright blue flakes and gold microglitter mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Duchess

Duchess is from Aristocats and I think this is the main Disney movie that doesn’t get enough love, so I was happy to finally see a brand include it as inspiration within a collection!

Duchess is a medium violet purple with a strong linear holographic, color shifting shimmer that goes from pink to gold to green and silver holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lucifer

I saved my favorite for last. The polish is gorgeous, but I love this little jerk cat. I seriously do.

Lucifer is a black teal-purple chroma shifter with iridescent gold micro flake. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. I took extra pictures to show the shift!

And there you have it! The Fair Maiden Polish Summer 2016 Feline Catty? Collection. I really enjoyed this collection and loved the inspiration. I get the connection of each shade to the feline. My favorites were Scar, Lucifer, Duchess and Dinah.

If there is a Feline Catty? part 2 – can we include Figaro this time? I love that one too.
