Fair Maiden Polish Twisted Fairytales Collection

Press Sample I have another post for today! This time I’ll be sharing the Fair Maiden Polish Twisted Fairytales Collection! For Fall 2017, Fair Maiden Polish decided to do a collection based on the darker side of Fairytales. We all know they aren’t always rainbows and butterflies (I may or may not be listening to Maroon 5) and sometimes it’s darker. I actually really love this theme for a Fall collection. Below is the “inspiration board” Fair Maiden Polish used for the Twisted Fairytales Collection! Aren’t the colors perfect for Fall? I’m in love! Okay, lets take a look at the Fair Maiden Polish Twisted Fairytales Collection! Poison Apple Poison Apple is a deep burgundy wine scattered holographic with ruby red shimmer. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Spellbound Spellbound is a gorgeous multichrome that shifts from magenta pink to violet to aqua blue…

Fair Maiden Polish Falling Stars

Press Sample Moving right along! Next up for the September Polish Pickup Shop is Fair Maiden Polish Falling Stars! There are about 44 indie makers involved this month, so that’s a LOT of polishes to choose from. Okay first we’re going to go through my spiel on Polish Pickup for those not familiar with it! Before I get into this lovely shade shown above, we’re going to talk about this new Facebook group and I’m going to describe it’s concept. The group is Polish Pickup. Polish Pickup offers a fun, interactive experience that allows you to submit theme ideas, vote for your favorite theme, and selectively purchase your favorite polishes every month. It’s NOT a box though. I think when it formed that was the major misconception of it. Now, I love polish boxes, however, some purchasers shared their frustration in only wanting 1 or 2 polishes from a box and needing…

Seriously. Let’s take a look! Sunglasses At Night Sunglasses At Night is a deep purple base scattered holo with blue shimmer mixed in. There are also some additional holo microglitters mixed in for extra sparkle. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
