Ethereal Lacquer | Velaris Collection

Happy Wednesday! I’ve been posting up a storm for the last week, and I’m not even done. So much coming our way – and everything just looks amazing. Next up is the Ethereal Lacquer Velaris Collection!

This collection feels very Wintery to me and it makes me sad to move onto more spring shades. Winter is typically my favorite color palette.

The Ethereal Lacquer Velaris Collection releases on March 18th, and I’m sure there will also be mystery bags to go along with the release (I don’t know for sure, but usually there are)

Let’s jump in and take a look.

Ethereal Lacquer | Winnow

Winnow is a bright prussian blue jelly base with magenta to orange to green shimmer, as well as holographic flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Suriel

Suriel is a plum purple jelly base packed with red to gold to green shimmer and holographic flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Shadow Singer

Shadow Singer is a deep teal jelly base with linear holo flecks mixed in. The holo is basically larger particle holo but it gives a really incredible holo effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Daemati (Magnetic)

Daemati is a black creme base loaded with magnetic holo pigment. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I only magnetized middle 2 nails so you can see it both ways.

Ethereal Lacquer | Starfall (Reflective Glitters)

Starfall is a greyed out blue jelly base loaded with silver reflective glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Illyrian Wings

Illyrian Wings is a bronzey brown jelly base loaded with silver reflective glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Velaris Collection

Another beautifully done collection! I really can’t pick a favorite since they are all in color families that I love, but … if I absolutely HAD to pick… probably Daemati, Starfall and Suriel.

I did find that the 2 reflective glitter polishes didn’t need glitter smoothers and I was fine with 1 coat of top coat, but I apply using thinner coats, so I don’t know if that played a part or if the base polish was plump enough to cushion around the glitters.
