Happy Monday! It was a productive weekend and I have a lot of posts and videos coming this week. If you follow me on YouTube – you saw I did 3 uploads yesterday alone, and I have 9 (!!) more ready to go throughout the week. Today we’re looking at the Ethereal Lacquer Crescent City Collection!

The colors in this collection almost entirely ones I’d typically reach for… except one. Not that I dislike that one, it just doesn’t agree with my skintone.

You can check out the swatching video on YouTube below:

Okay, so I will be honest – I’ve never read these books (is it multiple?) but I am big into reading, so I will check it out so I can kind of place the polish to the inspo.

The Ethereal Lacquer Crescent City Collection consists of 8 polishes that are mostly shimmery – there are a few with some holo bits mixed in as well though. Two of the polishes can double as toppers as well (and I do show both over black)

For my nails – they are Apres Gel X nails throughout this post, and the style is Extra Short Stiletto. I do sharpen them a bit though to get a more pointed look.

This collection is set to release on October 20th at 9pm EST… so lets jump on in and take a closer look!

Ethereal Lacquer | Jelly Jubilee

Jelly Jubilee is a medium purple crelly base loaded with pink to orange shimmer and tiny holo flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Lehabah

Lehabah is an orange leaning red jelly base packed with red to orange shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats an a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a fantastic shade. Happy, warm and beautifully done… but orange generally doesn’t agree with my skin tone so this is the only one that didn’t work for me personally – but skin tone aside – this is a stunning shade and I so wish oranges loved me.

Ethereal Lacquer | Starborn

Starborn is a clear base loaded with blue to violet shimmer and large holo flakes. I primarily show it in 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat, but the final photo does show it over Momento Mori (black creme, previously paid pr) in just 1 coat.

Ethereal Lacquer | Ruhn Danaan, Crown Prince of the Valbaran Fae

Ruhn Danaan, Crown Prince of the Valbaran Fae (the label has a typo on Valbaran) is a deep purple jelly base loaded with red to orange shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Through Love All Is Possible

Through Love All Is Possible is a very sheer magenta tinted base loaded with intense blue to violet shimmer. I used 3 thin coats for the photos below, and the final photo shows 1 coat over Momento Mori (Black creme, previously paid pr)

Ethereal Lacquer | Hunt

Hunt is a dove grey crelly base with blue to violet shimmer mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Umbra Mortis

Umbra Mortis is a vibrant, medium blue base loaded with blue to violet shimmer and small holo micro flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Quinlan

Quinlan is a vibrant red leaning magenta jelly base with intense blue shimmer and small holographic flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Crescent City Collection

If I had to pick favorites – Quinlan, Hunt, Umbra Mortis and Through Love All Is Possible are my top picks.
