In the Name of the Moon Collection

Late night post coming up! I was going to post yesterday but my arm was sore after the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine so I waited until today… and here we are. I have the Ethereal Lacquer In the Name of the Moon Collection to share!

The Ethereal Lacquer In the Name of the Moon Collection is a Sailor Moon inspired collection, and it’s an 8 piece collection. The 9th shade I’m sharing is Blossom, which was previously Pink is Sus to be released in the December Polish Pickup shop. Since that didn’t happen – the name was changed and it’s now being released. It’s also a charity shade.

These shades released on the 15th, along with In the Name Of The Moon Mystery bags and a few other goodies.

Let’s jump in – you have until the 22nd to pick these up.

Ethereal Lacquer | Black Moon

Black Moon is a sheer, pale pink jelly base with bright pink to orange shifting shimmer and scattered holographic micro flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Gilded Galaxy

Gilded Galaxy is a golden yellow jelly base with holographic micro flecks, as well as red to gold to green iridescent flakes and copper shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | In The Name Of The Moon

I’m the Name of the Moon is a turquoise jelly base with bright pink to orange shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Love and Justice

Love and Justice is a bright violet jelly base with pink to red to orange to gold to green shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is a bit warmer in person.

All proceeds from this polish will be donated to AAJC

Ethereal Lacquer | Powerful Love

Powerful Love is a medium blue jelly base with gold to green to aqua to blue shifting shimmer and scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Silver Crystal

Silver Crystal is a pastel multichrome type shade, and it’s a shimmery shift of gold to green to aqua to blue with some pink at the edges. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This can be used as a topper as well, I personally like it on it’s own. If you use it as a topper though – I think it looks best over lighter shades.

Ethereal Lacquer | Space and Time

This is the standout for me. Space and Time is a deep teal jelly base loaded with emerald to aqua to gold to fuschia multichrome pigment, with scattered holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Zirconia

Zirconia is a deep plummy purple with an intense linear holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Blossom

Blossom was originally Pink is Sus. I know a lot were waiting for it to release in the shop.

Blossom is a bright pink jelly base with hot pink to orange shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | In the Name of the Moon Collection

I like the mix going on with this collection. If I had to pick favorites – I would say pick up Space and Time, Powerful Love, In The Name Of The Moon and Blossom.

I did find these shades to build up opacity more so than some previous collections from Ethereal. A lot I could have done just 2 coats if I did normal coats, but I like thin coats – so I usually do 3 this ones.

You can also grab In The Name Of The Moon Mystery Bags which will have 3 mystery shades per bag. Limit 1 per person.

If you purchase the full collection – you will get a free iridescent rose as a gift with purchase.

Great new “pose” including your thumb! I always feel sorry for those big clunky thumb nails. :)
