Happy Thursday! I have a lot to share in the coming days, and right now we’re going to be looking at the Ethereal Lacquer The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection for Halloween 2022!
This is an 8 piece collection inspired by … well – I think you know already… The Nightmare Before Christmas!
This is set to release September 23rd at 9pm Eastern, and will also be available at some stockists as well.

Ethereal Lacquer | Oogie Boogie
Oogie Boogie is a bright neon green crelly base with strong gold to copper shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ethereal Lacquer | Zero
Zero is a white crelly base with blue to purple shifting shimmer laced throughout. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ethereal Lacquer | Only 365 Days Until Halloween
Only 365 Days Until Halloween is a gunmetal grey to red to orange multichrome. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Faint brushstrokes are visible in finish.
Ethereal Lacquer | Skellington
Skellington is a black jelly base loaded with silver holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ethereal Lacquer | Pumpkin King
Pumpkin King is a pumpkin orange jelly base packed with gold to copper shifting shimmer and holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ethereal Lacquer | Simply Meant To Be
Simply Meant To Be is a clear base packed with copper to gold ultra aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
If you have a strong VNL it will show through with this, but this shade would pair well with a light colored crelly base.
Ethereal Lacquer | Frog’s Breath
Frog’s Breath is a cool toned grey blue base loaded with green to aqua to purple shimmer and silver reflective glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ethereal Lacquer | Deadly Nightshade
Deadly Nightshade is a deep magenta jelly base loaded with blue to violet shimmer and silver holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I have a few favorites in this one… Oogie Boogie (neon greens always get me), Simply Meant to Be and Deadly Nightshade.
I had no application issues at all with this collection.
