Essie has added a new formula to their lineup! The Essie Gel Couture Polish, and I have 3 shades, a little nail art and a giveaway for my readers!

Essie Gel Couture Polish Nail Art & Giveaway

What is Essie’s Gel Couture Polish? It’s a 2 step system for luxurious wear for up to 14 days. You get a professional gel-like manicure without a UV lamp or harsh removal.

The 2 step system is easy.

Step 1 – Color

Step 2 – Top Coat

and done.

What about the base coat? Easy – the base coat is basically built into the color itself, which eliminates that step. They have 42 shades to choose from as well, which are available now at RIte Aid!

The bottles are a fun, modern, twisty bottle. The brush is a fabulous wide brush.

These are my favorite brushes to use. The stem of the brush also twists a bit.

The top coat is also a quick dry, which I wasn’t expecting! I wore Fairy Tailor on my right hand (which is my dominate hand, so it got a good workout!) and I went chip free for a week and a half. Not quite 14 days, but my job is a lot of paper shuffling, so I was impressed with the wear. For vacation and such – I can see it lasting a really nice amount of time.

Let’s take a look at swatches, the nail art I did, then get on with the giveaway

Fairy Tailor

Fairy Tailor

Fairy Tailor is a sheer nude pink. I used 2 coats and top coat for this photo.

Rock The Runway

Rock The Runway

Rock The Runway is a vibrant scarlet red. I used 2 coats and top coat for this photo.

Gala-vanting

Galavanting

Gala-vanting is a vampy maroon red. I used 2 coats and top coat for this photo.

I decided to do a quick nail art look using all 3 of the Essie Gel Couture shades I received.

I used Fairy Tailor as a base, then sponged on Rock The Runway and Gala-vanting as a gradient on my pinkie and index finges and I used some heart nail vinyls to gradient again.

Giveaway

Essie and Rite Aid were kind enough to offer 5 of my readers a little kit to try the Essie Gel Couture polishes for themselves! Each of the 5 winners will receive 1 Essie Gel Couture Polish and the Essie Gel Couture Top Coat. The color the winners receive will be completely random, but will be one of the 3 colors shown in this post

Must be 18 years or older to enter. Must be a US resident or have a US shipping address to enter. Rite Aid will distribute prizes. Please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery.

I cannot wait to pick up more of these shades. Application was flawless, the top coat was nice, shiny and quick drying and with 42 shades to choose from – I’ll be in heaven!

Make sure to check out your local Rite Aid to snag some of these gorgeous shades.
