I have some more Ellagee multichromes on the blog to share, this time with a little Game of Thrones inspiration thrown in! This is the Ellagee Throne Shippers Collection!

All 4 of these shades are stunning multichromes with additional “sparks” added for a little more depth. They are inspired by Game Of Thrones (YAY!) which Laura (Ellagee) is a fan of. Each shade is inspired by some of Laura’s favorite couples that she’s hoping to see get together in the upcoming Season 7 of Game of Thrones.

When Laura first mentioned the collection concept, I thought it was a really good one! Nick and I watch Game of Thrones, so we were able to discuss the concept while I worked on swatches (he actually agrees with the pairings too!)

Let’s jump into the polish and lemme know what you think!

Daenorah

This polish represents Daenarys Stormborn and Jorah Mormont. We all know he loves her and he’s been her fiercest protector. After all he’s been through to get back to her will he be able to find a cure for his unfortunate case of Greyscale and stand beside her at the Iron Throne?

Daenorah is a multichrome with shifts from coppery red to gold to to olive, plus iridescent microglitter and bright gold sparkle. The prominent colors are coppery red and gold. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Gressandei

This polish represents Grey Worm and Missandei of Naath. The are the sweetest couple in the show, their obvious love for each other has a pureness and innocence about it. We’ve seen a kiss, will they be able to have a life together in spite of the war they’re sailing into?

Gressandei is a multichrome that shifts from violet to red violet to gold to copper, plus iridescent microglitter and bright gold sparkle. Violet and gold are the most obvious shifts. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tarthbane

This polish represents my favorite couple of the series, Brienne of Tarth and Tormund Giantsbane. He was struck with a massive crush on her the moment he saw her, she wasn’t so sure about him but I think under that scowl she’s sneaking looks at him also. I’d love to see these two loyal warriors get together, they’d be unstoppable as a team.

Tarthbane is a multichrome that shifts from red-violet to purple to navy blue with some teal  and coppery shifts, plus iridescent microglitter and bright blue sparkle. The purple, red violet and  navy blue shifts are the most prominent. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Gendrya

This polish represents Gendry, unacknowledged son of Robert Baratheon, and Arya Stark. When they were traveling he was her loyal friend and protector and seeing them separated was heartbreaking. Now that some time has gone by and Arya is no longer a child I hope that their reunion will become a story of first love.

Gendrya is a multichrome that shifts from a silvery taupe to olive green to emerald green to teal, plus iridescent microglitter and bright pink sparkle. The silvery taupe and green shades are the most prominent. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ellagee Throne Shippers Collection Overview

Application wise, all of these seemed semi sheer on the first coat. They weren’t thin, they just didn’t reach high opacity. On the second coat, the opacity  was nice enough that I could have stopped there. I decided to do 3 coats just for good measure. I also do fairly thin coats, so medium coats should only need 2 coats really.

Overall, the quality of the polishes were very nicely done. The formula had a nice consistency – not too thick and not too thin. The shift in each shade was crazy good too.
