DIFFERENT dimension One Small Step Collection Swatches, Review & Giveaway

by Lisa Heath

Press Sample

DIFFERENT dimension released several new polishes last night!  There was the Valentine’s Day Collection, One Small Step Collection (which I’m about to show you!), a Mardi Gras Shade and a St. Patrick’s Day shade (both of those you will see in a couple hours from me)

The One Small Step collection consists of 8 shades, all inspired by our desire to explore the unknown depths of space at all costs.  All 8 shades are named after American Space Shuttles and missions.  These are all multichrome shifting polishes with added glitters, shimmers and sterling silver plated flakies.

Ready for these?

Discovery

Overview

I love the theme for this collection and think the shades fit in nicely with a galaxy and space type theme.  The addition of the silver holographic microglitters and sterling silver plated flakies helped add in a space look for each shade.  I had no issues with application and was able to reach full opacity in 2 coats.

Prices: $11.00 Each

Wowza. These look amazing and you did a fantastic job with them. The pic of Columbia in which you managed to get four different shift colors blew. my. mind.

Buut… My favorite is Atlantis. If only because it shifts between my two favorite nail colors.

Wow, these are all gorgeous! Love the idea of honoring our American space program specifically with this collection, instead of just naming them after stars or other space-related words. Even better, the historian in me loves the honoring of-without exploitation-our two lost shuttles, whose tragic disasters occurred on January 28 and February 1, Challenger and Columbia.

I love the classic Apollo, for obvious reasons!

These polishes and the collection name represent not only the great fantasy of space travel, but pay homage to the ones we lost pursuing that dream, who saw beauty and opportunity in space travel, despite the risk. I think this range of colors captures perfectly what draws our astronauts and countless others to keep going into the unknown.

Great review of these polishes and great job to DIFFERENT dimension in creating this set!

Wow, This is Just a Gorgeous Collection from Different Dimensions! Thank You So Very Much for this Chance! I Have Been Out of Work Lately b/c of a Bad Motorcycle Wreck & I Had to Move in With My Parents Too So it Has Been Very Challenging! I Do Not Get to Buy the Nice Luxuries Like I Used to and I Was an Esthetician & Make Up Artist Before the Accident So I Got to Try Products that I Normally Could Not Afford to Try! I Have Always Been Drawn to Two Things, Eye Shadow & Nail Polish b/c I Have Always Loved Playing with Color & Experimenting with Cool Techniques! This Would Truly be Just a Dream & I Can’t Tell You How Much I Would Appreciate Trying Even One of the New Nail Polishes from this Collection! I am More of a Color & Sparkle Kind of Gal and I Would Much Prefer Wearing Pretty Jewel Tone Colors Like This Than Plain Old Neutrals! It is Hard to Pick My Favorite b/c There isn’t One that I Don’t Like but I was Instantly Drawn to “Gemini, ” Even Though I am a Pisces! Green is My Favorite Color b/c There are Just So Many Hues of the Color that I am Crazy about and this Mossy Jade Color is Just Breathtaking! I Have Always Followed All of the Latest in Beauty on this Website and I Have Really Enjoy All of the Giveaways on this Site but This One has been One of My Absolute Favorites to Date, So I Have My Fingers Crossed & I am Hoping this Will be My Birthday Present This Year! Thanks Again & Have a Blessed Day, Jana
