DIFFERENT dimension Happy Holly Days Collection Swatches and Review

by Lisa Heath

Are you ready to see the DIFFERENT dimension Happy Holly Days Collection?  I was so excited to receive this and I adore the mix of finishes and glitters within the collection!

Ready to see?  This is a fairly picture heavy post – so prepare yourself!

Mistle-Toad

Mistle-Toad

Mistle-Toad is a pine green linear holographic with heavy pink shimmer that also gives a semi duochrome like effect.  I used 2 coats for this photo

Can We Carol On

Can We Carol On

Can We Carol On is one my favorite in the collection.  There are sparkles within this polish that I just simply couldn’t capture!  Can We Carol On is a creamy light dusty lavender holographic with blue shimmer.  I used 2 coats for this photo

Load Of Baubles

Load Of Baubles

Load of Baubles is another favorite!  Load of Baubles is a baby pink polish with heavy blue shimmer and dries to a matte finish.  I used 3 coats for this photo.

This Is Not Fir

This Is Not Fir

This Is Not Fir is a grass green jelly base with silver and green circles, squares and hex glitters throughout.  I used 3 coats for this photo.  You can also layer this over a similar creme base to get a squishy looking opaque base!

I Only Have Ice For You

I Only Have Ice For You

I Only Have Ice For You is a holographic top coat with sterling silver micro flakes!  I used 1 coat over OPI What’s With The Cattitude? but you can build it up on its own for full coverage (would probably take about 3 coats)

Tinselitis

Tinselitis

Tinselitis is a clear base with holographic silver circles and hexes in various sizes as well as a strong silver shimmer throughout.  I used 1 coat over Load Of Baubles.

You’re Not Making Any Frankincense

You're Not Making Any Frankincense

You’re Not Making Any Frankincense is a gold and silver circle glitterbomb mixed in with some small gold and silver square and hex glitters.  I used 1 coat over black, but this would look good over any base shade!

That’s Snow Joke

That's Snow Joke

That’s Snow Joke is a clear base with blue, white and silver glitters in a mix of shapes and sizes all in a clear base with silvery blue shimmer.  I used 1 coat over a white creme base.

Don’t Be The Santa of Everything

Don't Be The Santa Of Everything

Don’t Be The Santa of Everything is Christmas in a bottle!  This is a clear base with red and green circle glitters mixed with some square and hex glitters.  I used 2 coats over SinfulColors Strapped.

Christmahanakwanzika

Christmashanakwanzika

Christmahanakwanzika is back again!  This was released last year (and I still can’t type it correctly in one shot).  This polish is named for the 3 most popular winter holidays – Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.  With all of the wonderfully diverse holidays this time of year, DIFFERENT dimension decided it was important to try and make something fun for everyone to wear!  This glitter top coat has red, yellow, blue, green, black and gold glitters in a clear base.  I used 1 coat over SinfulColors Laced Up

Why Am I Such A Misfit?

Why Am I Such a Misfit

I saved my #1 for last!  Why Am I Such A Misfit is an ode to the Island Of Misfit Toys!  This is a white crelly base packed full of fun BRIGHT glitters!  So different for this time of year and I LOVE IT!  I used 3 coats for this photo.

Why Am I Such a Misfit CU

So what did you think?  I adored this collection and will wear a lot of these over and over (some all year long!).  I had no application issues with any of these.  A few are glitter heavy – but I didn’t have to fish for glitters and they needed no manipulating.

My Top Picks:  Why Am I Such a Misfit?, Load of Baubles, Can We Carol On, Mistle-Toad and I Only Have Ice For You.

Price: $8.50 for the glitters and $11.00 for the holographics

Release Date: November 16th at 12pm EST

Where To Buy: DIFFERENT dimensions Etsy Shop and Llarowe’s Shop

So what do you think?  Will you be picking any of the Happy Holly Days Collection up?
