I have some more DIFFERENT dimension for you this afternoon! This time it’s the Halloween 2015 collection – Anomalous-Phenomenon. This collection releases tonight along with the Fall collection (which I’ll have up in a bit!), Every Power Possible (Autism Speaks charity polish) and this weeks single Shooting Star Series shade, Equuleus.

Very busy release night! And at the bottom of this post there will be a quick giveaway for 1 shade in this review – Chasing Shadows. There’s a reason I have an extra bottle, and it was my own specialness that we’ll ignore for a bit. So yay for you!

Let’s take a look at the Halloween collection!

EMF

EMF

EMF (electromagnetic field) is a deep red jelly base with holographic micro glitter scattered in. I used 2 thick coats for these photos and a glossy top coat. I found this shade to lean a little on the runny side, but I was surprised because it was so well pigmented that it didn’t apply thin (if that makes sense?) It wasn’t an issue, but be careful not to load up your brush or you might flood your cuticles.

Great review as always! These are gorgeous! My wallet is going to be very angry with me!
My fav Halloween memory is, hands down, the first time my son wore a costume. He was 2 1/2 yrs old and was a little skeleton! So freaking adorable!

I used to be friends with someone who had a HUGE family, and every year around Halloween, they’d have this elaborate scavenger hunt. I’m not talking in someone’s house or neighborhood, it was across the greater Chicagoland area. We easily could drive 100 miles that night. And the crap we had to bring with us, and some of the stuff we had to do…we had stories to tell for weeks after it was over. It literally took 6-8 months to plan, and sometimes longer depending how elaborate the tasks were. Best time ever!

Seeing my youngest stepson dressed up as his favorite super hero on his first Halloween living with us. He was so happy when he came home with all that candy.

Gorgeous swatches, as always!

My favorite Halloween memory is when I was a child and went to a cousins Halloween in the dark party. I was so scared. I still remember feeling “eyeballs” and thinking it was so gross!

My favorite Halloween memory happened every year when I was younger! My brother, sister, and I would finish out trick-or-treating, and would dump EVERYTHING out on the living room floor, spread it all out, and trade (and usually steal) with each other! Then we would all try to find the best hiding places, so that we didn’t have to share with each other!

My favourite Halloween memory happened when I was about 7. I had long blond hair and my mom made me an orange witch’s hat out of construction paper. It rained and I ended up with orange hair! lol It took a while until my hair was all blond again!

My fave memory so far is trick or treating with my nephew. I wish I had his energy! It was so fun to dress up and walk around watching him have so much fun. I would do it every year if I could. :)

Love this collection and your swatches, as always. My favorite Halloween memory is that almost every year we’d go to Grandma’s house at the end of the night to count our candy and barter our collection with each other. :) I still remember the twinkle in my Grandma’s eyes as she watched us and smiled. She always gave us the best candy!

Wow, thank you so much! Chasing shadows is actually my fav. out of the bunch. They are all so vibrant which is amazing! My favorite Halloween memory is simply standing on the porch of a townhouse that I used to own in Northern VA and handing out candy to all the cute little kids. I always try to find little extra items to put in with the candy, like mazes or spider rings, etc. and the look on there faces when they get something extra is so cool to see. :) Thanks for sharing.

One year when I was about five or six, we were getting ready for trick or treating when the doorbell rang. It was too early for the kids to start coming around, so my parents thought it might be a neighbor. At the door was a teenage boy all dressed up in a prince costume. He told my mom he was there “to pick up your daughter” for the party. I was around the corner all decked out in my princess outfit, saw he looked like a prince, and when I heard him say he was here for me, I excitedly ran to the front door and proclaimed that my prince had come! I remember hugging this guy around his knees and telling him I was a “real” princess, just like in the stories. Poor thing, he was terribly confused! After my parents disengaged him from my clutches, they told him the house he wanted was the next street over. Even now, that story gives me a chuckle! :)

My favorite Halloween memory was my 3rd or 4th date with my now husband. We went to a couple of clubs downtown dressed as a bee and a beekeeper. I couldn’t get any former boyfriends to do a couple costume with me, so that’s one reason I knew he was a keeper. No pun intended lol

My favorite Halloween memory was the year that my son tried to hand candy out of his bucket back to people who gave him candy at each house that we went to while trick or treating – I think he was about 4… that must have been the year we were learning it is better to give than to receive. :D

My favourite Halloween memory is playing Trick or Treat with my friends in my hostel. My treater led me on a treasure hunt with many sweets and riddles to figure out along the way, and my tricker plastered my door with newspapers, so when I opened my door in the morning, I was greeted with a wall of newspapers!

Great swatches! Hmm, my favourite Halloween memory… Actually, most of my children Halloweens were the same, we always have our house decorated and scary candies everywhere. We would eat together and then my sisters and me would dress up as vampires or witches :D and then we’d spend the evening together, watching a movie or playong games. Because we don’t really have neighbours, we never did the ‘Trick or Treat’ thing, but our parents did everything to still give us a special memory :)

One of my favorite halloween memories is when I went trick or treating with my friends, we must have been around 13 (oh, so many years ago!) and thought it would be our last time. We went trick or treating house to house to house until our pillowcases were heavy and our feet hurt!

I loved getting home from trick or treating, tallying up our hauls and then negotiating trades with my brother for each of our favorite candies.

Halloween is my favorite Holiday of the year because of the free candy! However, as a child at the age of six, something unfortunate happened to me. It was embarrassing, but I laughed it off because it was funny. It is something I will never forget in my life. I went trick-or-treating with my cousins and the everything was going awesome. However, soon we went near a certain house that was dark and gloomier than all the others my cousins and I went passed. Of course, the house had it’s Halloween props around. There was also a Grim Reaper standing at the front porch holding a scythe. I was the one at the front and bravely approached it. I touched to see if it was real or fake; it didn’t budge an inch. I turn around and told the others that it was fake. Then suddenly I was grabbed from behind and picked up from the ground. I screamed, but first chance I got, I urinated all over it and myself… My cousins were laughing. I was crying. Then it put me down and took off it’s costume revealing to be my teen boy cousin. He was furious, but he knew he deserved it. :D I was crying then, and later during the night laughing about it with my cousins. It’s a memory that I will tell my kids and grand-kids. :) <3 This memory warms my heart to no end because it reminds me the days of being a child. <3

My favorite Halloween memory is when i was about 12, my brothers were 8 and 9, we were trick or treating along the subdivion road around our house and a younger girl fell down. my youngest bother Collin immediately rushed to help her, he was a vampire and she was a princess, and when he helped her up he told her “Every princess should have a squire!” and from that moment on the two of them were friends. This memory is special because this is going to be my first halloween without my brother since he was born, He passed away in march of this year.

What a beautiful collection, I especially love Chasing Shadows! One of the best Halloween memories I have is of my mom turning our two-car garage into a haunted cave! She had spiders, cobwebs, fog, special lighting, etc., really decked out. She was dressed as a witch and had a table set up at the garage door opening where she was dispensing candy to kids and she would cackle and talk in a witchy voice. One very little boy, maybe 4 years old, was so scared of my mom’s appearance and our “cave” that he dropped his bucket of candy halfway up our driveway and took off running! His dad was calling after him to stop and that it was okay! I felt bad for the little boy (even though it’s kinda funny to think about now), but I loved how my mom went all out that year :)

I loved going out for Halloween with my younger Aunt, one year she had her friend who was a make-up artist paint our faces. My sister and I always had fun going out trick-or-treating with her.

Im from New Zealand, so we don’t really celebrate Halloween, additionally my parents always thought it would be annoying of me to bug the neighbours for candy.

However! When I was 8 or so, my bestfriend had a Halloween party which we all dresses up and knocked on the doors of her ANCIENT neighbours (it had all been set up and they knew we were coming – but at the time we didn’t know this!) and they loaded the candy into our buckets.. First and only time I have ever been trick or treating! :)

The first Halloween with my daughter was the best!
I never celebrated Halloween until I had a child – the happiness and excitement she feels is contagious

My favorite Halloween memory will be a bit of a let down, I’m afraid! I never was a Halloween person, even as a kid. I wanted the candy all right, but could never come up with a particularly creative costume for the holiday. I’m ashamed to admit I usually fell back on the old “hobo” routine-Dad’s lawn work clothes, a few artful smudges on my face and I trouped out for the “degrading” hoops adults made me jump thru for candy! Still not a Halloween freak like most of my contemporaries-but me and candy go WAY BACK!

My favorite halloween memories are the ones I share with my younger cousins who I took trick or treating when they where in elementary school and I was in middle school. It was so fun to see how excited and happy they were and how new and scary all the halloween decorations were to them!

Gorgeous polish and reviews! I never really enjoyed dressing up but my school always had Halloween-themed dances. My friends and I would also have such a great time just hanging out! And watching Hocus Pocus after!
