I have an incredibly special polish to share today. This is Contrary Polish A Match Made In KC!

Contrary Polish A Match Made In KC was created as a charity polish to help to create and support life changing friendships for kids in Kansas City. Carrie of Contrary Polish and her husband have been a Big Couple to a young man in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City for almost 3 years now, so this is a cause close to their heart.

ALL profits made from the sales of A Match Made In KC will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. Buy one for yourself, one for a friend (the holidays are coming up!) and at the same time you are helping children. They are available in 2 sizes (as shown in the photo above!) both “Big” and “Little”. The Big is .5 fl oz and the Little is .17 fl oz.

Let’s take a look at the photos and then how to grab yours!

Contrary Polish A Match Made In KC

Contrary Polish A Match Made In KC is a cool toned red with gold shimmer and holographic micro flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I used thin coats, but this is easily a 2 coat polish if you use normal coats.

Purchasing Information

As I mentioned previously – all profits from A Match Made In KC will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.  If you aren’t familiar with Big Brothers Big Sisters, it’s an incredible non-profit organization that gives children the opportunity to have incredible one-on-one relationships with a “Big Brother or Big Sister”. While I was never involved in it, I do have friends and relatives that were and it allowed the children to connect with a positive influence that helped shape their future.  In most cases it didn’t just change the child’s life – but also the adult volunteer’s life. Most remained in close contact with each other for years after they were no longer in the program. It created a strong bond, much like most biological brothers and sisters tend to have.

If you would like to find out more ways to help or volunteer – visit the website. There are links to donate (not just money, but also clothing) as well as finding out how to be a Big Brother/Sister or even to get a Big Brother/Sister.

Price: $5.50 for “Little” | $11.00 for “Big”

Availability: November 1st through December 31st

Where To Buy: Contrary Polish Shop

Contrary Polish Social Media: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram

As with all charity polishes I receive for review, I will be making a private donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City as well.

I hope to see this stunning red on a lot of your nails over the next 2 months! It would make a fabulous gift, stocking stuffer, or just because item for yourself.
