Let’s Head To The Beach Collection

I have the newest Colors by Llarowe collection to share with you today, and it’s releasing this weekend! It’s the Colors by Llarowe Let’s Head To The Beach Collection!

This is a 10 piece collection consisting of 3 crellies, 4 shades that are half Unicorn Pee pigment and half Aurora Pigment, and 3 shimmer shades.  This is a fairly mellow collection color wise with some calming blues and paler tones, but there’s some fun shimmer in most of them. The cremes are perfect to wear alone (especially on your toes!) or as bases to the shimmery toppers.

Since I know not all are familiar with Unicorn Pee – when I mention it in descriptions it is a red to green shifting pigment that is rare. We’re seeing it pop up a bit and makers are letting go of their stash in the love of polish.

When I mention Aurora Pigment – it’s very similar to Unicorn Pee with the color shift (in this instance, there are various shifts of different Aurora Pigments I believe), but the particles are slightly larger.

I’m actually on my lunch break right now, so I’ll zip it so we can get into the collection.

As a reminder (because I have gotten several PM’s about it) even though Color4Nails now carries Colors by Llarowe, this is one of the only brands that the affiliate codes do not work on. So if you try to use it, the code isn’t inactive – it’s just not eligible for the discount.

Let’s do this

Hang Ten

Hang Ten is a blurple jelly base with unicorn pee pigment and aurora pigment so you see lots of red to gold to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This Side Of Heaven

This Side Of Heaven is a turquoise blue jelly base with unicorn pee pigment and aurora pigment for an intense red to gold to green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Banana Smoothie

Banana Smoothie is a soft yellow jelly base with unicorn pee pigment and aurora pigment mixed in. I used 4 thin coats for these photos. This shade also makes a really nice topper, which you’ll see over the next shade and series of photos.

High Quality H20

High Quality H20 is an ocean blue crelly. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

First set of photos will show just High Quality H20 and following will be High Quality H20 with Banana Smoothie over it.

Let’s Boogie

Let’s Boogie was incredibly hard to photograph and is actually more green in person. This is one of those shades that like to almost go pastel for the camera and color correcting it usually doesn’t work too well.

Let’s Boogie is a turquoise green crelly. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Again – it’s more green and less “pastel like” in person.

Building Sandcastles

Building Sandcastles is a sheer white crelly base with unicorn pee and aurora pigment mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This one also makes a beautiful topper and you will see it over the next shade I’m showing!

Azure Thing

Azure Thing is a light but vibrant azure blue crelly. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Surf’s Up

Surf’s Up is an azure blue based multi chrome that shifts azure to aqua to purple to pink. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Moonlight On The Water

Moonlight On The Water is a royal blue based multichrome that shifts from royal blue to aqua to purple with aurora pigment that shifts aqua to purple. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The base shift was hard to capture and on the more subtle side.

High Tide

High Tide is an azure blue crelly base with aurora pigment mixed in that shifts bright aqua to pink to sky blue. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I’m actually really loving that she mixed the Aurora Pigment with the Unicorn Pee so we get more of the effect without the much higher cost that is sometimes associated with it. Plus there’s more microflecks of color shift as well as the finer shimmery look. I enjoyed this collection and the various shades of blue for sure. Very beachy!

Color4Nails has already done a preorder for this collection, and there will be another small restock on April 28th. The official launch will be at The Indie Shop in Anaheim on May 19th

Again – in case you missed it above – my affiliate code will NOT work on Colors by Llarowe shades.
