Blush Lacquers 1929 Collection

Press Sample

Tonight I have the Blush Lacquers 1929 Collection to share with you… and it’s a stunning collection!

This 6 piece collection captures the elegant and chic nature of the romanticism and fantasy of the roaring 20’s. All 6 shades are beautiful executed and one in particular stole my heart the second I put it on.

Let’s take a closer look!

Lipstick Matchsticks

Lipstick Matchsticks is a bright pink toned red jelly base with pink shimmer flecks and red shimmer. This shade is bright and fun and kind of has me excited for Summer, even though I know it’s pretty far away. It’s a touch pinker in person too. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Splendid!

Splendid! is a soft neutral camel beige crelly base with gold to bronze shifting shimmer and holographic flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I’m cool toned and this looks incredible on me. It’s not quite a cool leaning or warm leaning – but sits snugly in the middle, so it would be nice across a wide variety of skintones.

Swingin’ At The Savoy

Swingin’ At The Savoy is a deep sapphire blue base with a blue to purple shift in it. There’s a light sprinkling of holo and gold micro glitter flakes as well. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Toe Tappin’ Flapper

Toe Tappin’ Flapper is a deep olive green jelly base with tinges of brown, as well as a golden green shimmer and gold holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This Side Of Paradise

This Side Of Paradise is a softer mint crelly base with soft copper to bronze to gold shifting shimmer, subtle scattered holo and bronze microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Wildest Dreams

I saved my favorite for last. Wildest Dreams is a greyed out lavender crelly base with subtle pink to bronze to gold shifting multichrome shimmer and scattered holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Blush Lacquers 1929 Collection

I really enjoyed the mix of colors and finishes in this smaller collection. We go from bold and bright to deep and mysterious with a few options in between. Application was nice and smooth on all 6 shades.

My Top Picks: Wildest Dreams, Lipstick Matchsticks & Toe Tappin’ Flapper

I also saved Wildest Dreams to wear this week! I love all the sophisticated but muted colors in this collection.

Definitely want Wildest Dreams. It’s unique and beautiful. I hope it’s still around mid March since I’ll be out of town until then and unable to order.
