“A touch of color can change everything!”
This spring OPI takes nail color to the next level with revolutionary Sheer Tints, the brand’s first-ever,pigmented top coats. Sheer Tints by OPI offers a fresh take on traditional top coats with the introduction of four new vivid hues in Blue, Pink, Yellow and Purple. An infusion of transparent color with high shine, these top coats can be worn alone, with a base coat for a playful sheer or layered over any shade to create an alternate finish for a progressive nail look.
“Nail color is all about self-expression; apply Sheer Tints over your favorite OPI Nail Lacquer to achieve your dream shade, accent glitters and darks or transform crèmes and shimmers,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP. “Make a statement by creating an ombre design that is on-trend, then add several coats to create dimension.”
Sheer Tints by OPI includes the following hues:
I’m Never Amberrassed
Liquid amber morphs into a veneer of yellow tint that is anything but bashful.
Be Magentale with Me
Give your nails the sweet treatment with this sheer pink tint.
Don’t Violet Me Down
You can count on this crystal sheer amethyst.
I Can Teal You Like Me
It’s obvious you’re head over teal in love with this sheer blue.
Sheer Tints features OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application. Sheer Tints will be available March 2014, at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, jcp Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, ULTA and ulta.com for $9.00 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each nail lacquer.

At LAST! The Zoya Magical Pixie trio has arrived! Ever since I saw the promo, I couldn’t wait to see these in person and they didn’t disappoint me.
First, I’m going to say right off the bat – Magical Pixie shades are chunkier than normal PixieDust polishes from Zoya (which I’m sure you guessed from promo shots). I don’t mind the added texture, but they are definitely grittier. I do love them though. Take a look at the photos, then I’ll add some additional thoughts and a giveaway at the end!
Cosmos is the silver stunner in the collection. This is by far my favorite shade and it’s almost like having disco balls on your nails. Cosmos is packed with metallic silver sparkle and medium sized silver hex holographic glitters. You can see the light glinting off the holo particles even in my normal kitchen lighting. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Lux is a rosy pink version of Cosmos! Extremely girly and blingy. Lux contains rosy pink crystal texture and medium sized rosy pink holographic hex glitters. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Vega is a light blue crystal texture with medium holographic hexes mixed in. I actually expected Vega to be a little more aqua based on photos I had seen, but I’m really liking the shade it is in person. I used 2 coats for these photos.
As I said earlier, these are chunkier and grittier than normal PixieDust shades, so you will have to decide if you can handle that. I personally like textures – even the chunky ones. I also like the holographic aspect. I’m a huge fan of the bling look on my nails, so I’m pleased with them. If you aren’t a fan of texture as it is though – I wouldn’t recommend these. I can see all 3 of these getting a lot of use as an accent nail as well as a full manicure.
Price: $10.00 Each

I have 5 Rainbow Honey shades to share with you tonight provided by Edgy Polish. Edgy Polish is an online shop located in Sweden that carries a variety of indie shades from makers like Mentality, Dollish Polish, Too Fancy Lacquer and many many more. I know a lot of my international readers ask about certain indies that don’t ship out of the US, so if you are one of those – Edgy Polish may have you covered!
Rainbow Honey is a brand Edgy Polish carries, and this is actually my first experience with the brand, as well as the online shop – so lets see what my thoughts are!
Cetra is a sheer pale pinky peach base full of shimmer and iridescent micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats for these photos. It looks grittier than it actually is in photos. In reality, once I applied a top coat, this was incredibly smooth.
Appleberry is a gorgeous glittery top coat full of cranberry, gold and blue glitter plus a sprinkle of blue shimmer in a clear base. I used 2 coats over a black creme base.
Demeter was one of my favorites in the collection. This is a vibrant green foil like polish with pops of metallic green and a hint of gold. I used 3 thin coats for this photo.
Don’t Gingersnap At Me!
Don’t Gingersnap At Me! is a clear base with a mix of copper and gold glitter and shimmer within. I used 1 coat over a black cream base. Glitter distribution was really good with this top coat! Plenty came out with each dip of the brush and I didn’t have to work and spreading them out.
Tidal Wave is a gorgeous aqua jelly base packed with holographic glitter and iridescent shimmer. I used 3 thin coats for this photo. Tidal Wave was a little on the thick side, but still fine to work with. I used 1 coat of top coat to smooth it out.
All 5 Rainbow Honey nail polishes were good. Tidal Wave was a little thicker than the rest, but still decent to apply. Edgy Polish shipped from Sweden and I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the package arrived in the US. Her communication is amazing and she is quick to answer questions if you have any.
Price: SEK 115
Where To Buy: Edgy Polish Website
I’m really excited to see more international websites carrying a nice variety of indie shades. While my blog grows, and I have more and more international readers, it can really be disappointing when I’m asked where to buy a polish and have no where to point them to because the brand doesn’t ship internationally. Edgy Polish carries a lot of brands you already see pretty regularly on my blog like Mentality, Celestial Cosmetics, and Different Dimension.
Make sure to follow Edgy Polish on Facebook to see more swatches and to see what other amazing brands she carries!
Hope you loved the review and I do hope that I’ve been able to show my international readers a new purchasing avenue when looking for some of these amazing indie brands!

I recently did a review for Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara, and I seriously love this stuff!
Now there are 2 reasons I’m posting a second review. First off, it’s awesome. Second, it’s now my HG mascara. Third, I have another set to give away!
Last time I showed a before and after. This time, I’m going to show this in action, step by step so you know what to expect when using!
I will say – I’m sorry about my eyebrows and the random hairs. I get my brows threaded, and my threading place has moved so I haven’t had time to drive all the way to their new location on my breaks. Also, the lighting isn’t the best in these photos and my skin was a tad red from getting out of the shower.
Here are my lashes to start. Completely clean slate!
Step 1 – Transplanting Gel
You want to do your eyes one at a time because the fibers need to be applied while the transplanting gel is still a little wet. The transplanting gel applies like normal mascara. Before step 1 you can put on normal mascara for a thicker, more dramatic appearance, but I really like it on it’s own for a more natural look.
Step 2 – Natural Fibers
As I said before, these look scary – but I didn’t have any issue with them falling into my eyes at all. When applying the natural fibers, they cling to the transplanting gel already applied and extend the lashes.
I actually like this photo for some reason. You can see the fibers sticking to my lashes and looking halloweenish.
Step 3 – Finishing with Transplanting Gel
When I’m ready, I apply another coat of transplanting gel to finish off the look.
As you can see, all the random fibers that were going all over the place are now tamed, my lashes are longer and I really love them!
Removal is easy, I use a cleansing oil and gently apply to my eyes and it removes it quite easily. It’s smudge proof, water proof and stays looking amazing ALL DAY LONG!
Where to Buy: Younique Website
