Press Sample of Vapid Lacquer April 2018 Releases

Tax season is over, but my office is actually in the process of moving locations (eep!)  One busy season ended, and another begins. Let’s hope my nails survive. My office area is going to be HUGE. The space planners have been working on cubicles and all that, so I just got to see my area today.

Anyways – back to what you all came here for! The Vapid Lacquer April 2018 Releases!

We have a lot of Spring ready shades with gorgeous shimmer and 2 holographics.  We’ve had some drab weather lately (how is it still snowing in some areas??) so Vapid wanted to brighten up the overcast monotony.

The shades within this collection mix and match for beautiful nail art or gradient pairings as well.  I did do a little stamping with one of the shades and it worked beautifully! I’m hoping to do more when I have some time off this weekend.

All purchasing and release info will be at the bottom of the post – so happy reading!

Vapid Lacquer Trite

Vapid Lacquer Trite is a shimmery cobalt blue that has almost a slightly metallic sheen from all the shimmer. Most of the shimmer is a really fine type of shimmer, but there are some shimmery flecks sprinkled in. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer Concord

Vapid Lacquer Concord is the deepest shade in the collection. Concord is a deep, cool toned grape purple with a ton of pink shimmer mixed in. The shimmer mingles nicely with the deep base and brings a fun brightness to it. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer Conquest

Vapid Lacquer Conquest is a berry purple with bright fuchsia shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer Venus Fly Trap

Vapid Lacquer Venus Fly Trap is a bright chartreuse crelly with golden shimmer and iridescent micro flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer Aquatica

Vapid Lacquer Aquatica is a green leaning turquoise that is packed with shimmer and silver micro flecks. Much like Trite, it has almost a metallic sheen to it. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer Flamingle

Vapid Lacquer Flamingle in a bright, brilliant red toned pink with pink shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer Tantrum

Vapid Lacquer Tantrum is a bright fuchsia linear holographic with some pink shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Vapid Lacquer Hostile

Vapid Lacquer Hostile is a berry purple linear holographic, and possibly my top pick! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Hostile stamps! I used What’s Up Nails B010 Texture Me Nature plate and a big clear squishy stamper for this.

Hostile over Venus Fly Trap!

Vapid Lacquer April 2018 Releases

Very excited about this release, and I’m digging the brightness without going into the neon territory. I had no application issues and most of these were 2 coaters.

Along with the new polishes, Vapid will also be launching their Bath Bombs in both Buttermilk Bombs and a milk free alternative bomb. There will also be new scents releasing, and we will see a restocking of Clique and No Can Do Sugar Cube. Both Clique and No Can Do Sugar Cube will be a limited pour though.

Prices TBA. As usual, Krys will make an announcement with more release info soon in the Vapicorns Facebook Group so keep an eye out there for it.

Release Date: April 28th at 1PM CST

Concord is so pretty! I love “blurples” so it’s exactly my kind of color.
