Reverse Wash Hair System With Tresemme

Reverse hair wash? I know it sounds odd and so not what we’ve all grown up hearing about. It’s always been the same old routine! Shampoo then conditioner. But what if I told you that you should try the Reverse Wash Hair System with TRESemme? You game for it?

Instead of the normal shampoo then condition, you condition first, and then shampoo. That way you are washing away the weight of the conditioner and then giving your hair some extra volume with the shampoo.

When I first saw it, I was trying to figure out what this new gimmick was… but then I tried it for myself.

What an interesting concept. I have dry-leaning naturally curly hair, and I really need the added emollience of a conditioner to get a comb through my hair. I wonder how well this would work for me.

Your hair looks so beautiful! Glad to see it worked for you. I have thick, coarse hair and I tried reverse shampooing a few times with Kerastase. I couldn’t get used to it. Old school, I guess!

I’ve been doing this for years. I do a pre-poo (condition), shampoo, and deep condition.

MarciaF February 1, 2016 - 4:48 pm

I’ve tried co-washing but never this reverse system. I like the sound of it since my hair gets flat so quickly.

Reverse hair washing is definitely helpful, as it helps get rid of conditioner residue! Love your hair! <3

My hair is dry and tangle prone, it prefers conditioner to finish. :D

Crikey, there is SO much volume! I want to try this method – but only with the Tresseme range since it is meant to work that way.

Leelo February 1, 2016 - 10:02 pm

I’ve heard of it, but I’ve never tried it myself. I wouldn’t try it regular shampoo and conditioner, but with this special system I might give it a try.

The Beauty of Life February 2, 2016 - 9:59 am

Hmmm. I don’t know if this would work for my hair since I really need to condition it to get it to be manageable. But it would be worth a try!

Cami valenzuela February 2, 2016 - 12:56 pm

I’d love to try this. My hair is so flat. I have never seen this till now. Gotta try this

Melissa February 2, 2016 - 10:50 pm

My hair is easily weighed down by conditioners but, I do need a proper one (beyond the leave-in I also use). I’m interested in this line because it’s volumizing. The reverse wash system seems like maybe it would condition my hair without leaving it weighed down.
