I’m back with another review – this time the Prism Polish UK Winter Is Here Collection!

I’m trying to keep a little busy – it’s hot outside and I don’t do well in heat. I’m grumpy right now because of the heat and I can’t cool off for some reason. Nick just has nicknames for these weather related grumps and he will say “What are you up to Grumpalumpakins?”

He gets me.

Okay so this is a Game of Thrones inspired collection. There are 8 shades total within this collection and a nice mix of finishes. This is another one of those “a little bit of everything in one shot” which extends to colors as well as finishes.

You can find these in the Color4Nails shop and all 8 shades are currently available.

Let’s jump in. As usual, you should be able to use my affiliate code which is CSant10 for 10% off your Color4Nails order.

Prism Polish UK | For The Watch

For The Watch is a dusty, medium heather purple creme based linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Prism Polish UK | Ice Dragon (Thermal)

Ice Dragon is a charcoal grey (cold) to a dusty, ice blue (warm) loaded with blue to purple to green shifting shimmer and blue to purple shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I will note that as I applied this one, I got 2 whitish chunks on the nail that I brushed off easily. I think it as pigment that hadn’t mixed in properly. Nothing big, had I left it on, you’d barely notice.

Prism Polish UK | Lannister’s Regards

Lannister’s Regards is a vampy ruby red crelly base with original unicorn pee red to gold to green shifting pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The official description says the shimmer is finer particle unicorn pee pigment with an asterisk at the end of pigment – so I’m not entirely sure if the shifting shimmer IS unicorn pee, or one that mimics it.

Prism Polish UK has confirmed it IS original unicorn pee pigment.

Prism Polish UK | Say It!

Say It! is a purple to magenta to gold to green multichrome with scattered holographic mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. This is super shifty.

Prism Polish UK | The Great War Is Here (Magnetic)

The Great War Is Here is a deep charcoal grey holographic base with green to purple to pink shifting multichrome magnetic pigment, a well as green to purple shifting micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I left my index and pinkie unmagnetized so you can see the polish with and without the use of a magnet.

Prism Polish UK | The North Remembers

The North Remembers is a smokey, medium blue crelly base with original unicorn pee red to gold to green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This one had unicorn pee with an asterisk at the end, and I’m honestly not sure what that denotes. Judging by the price point, I do believe it’s Unicorn Pee.

Prism Polish UK has confirmed it’s original Unicorn Pee.

Prism Polish UK | There’s No Cure

There’s No Cure is a smoked out sage green creme base with pink to gold to green shifting multichrome shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My entire bottle showed multichrome shimmer ribboned on the inside of the bottle, but there is a ton floating around.

Prism Polish UK | Winter Is Coming

Winter Is Coming is my favorite of the group.

Winter Is Coming is a white jelly like base loaded with multichrome flecks that shift pink to green to gold. The pink and green shifts are a bit more ‘in your face’ in person – and it’s got the opal-like look to it. It’s gorgeous. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Prism Polish UK | Winter Is Here Collection

I am one of those people who hasn’t really seen Game of Thrones. I intend to, I started season 1, but with my current schedule I can’t give it the focus it needs. I don’t run around like “I’M IN THE 10% WHO HASN’T SEEN IT!” cause no one really cares. I want to see it, just haven’t really yet. I do feel like I know the show based on all the Facebook posts that roll in after.

Prism Polish has a butter formula and glides on easily. The only small thing I noted was that Ice Dragon had small pigment chunks (only 2 of them that I spotted) but they were easy to remove.
