June 2019 Releases

I have a few posts to do today and we’re kicking off the series of posts with the Don Deeva June 2019 Releases!

We’ll be looking at 8 new shades in today’s lineup that all release on June 14th at 3pm EST. There’s a few thermals, a neon, and of course… all the pee.

The thermals were a bit… tricky this month. They were very reactive but we are having mid to high 90’s temps (104 on Monday… ugh) so even with ice next to me, getting full transition shades were difficult. Now to add to the trickiness – 2 of the thermals are cold sensitive! Usually it’s heat that triggers the changes, and the bottle shade is the “cold” state – but with the cold sensitive ones, the bottle shade is the warmest color. I’ll point those out in descriptions.

Let’s jump in!

Don Deeva | Lala’peelooza (Cold Reactive Thermal)

Lala’peelooza is a cold reactive thermal. At room temp/warm it’s a pale baby pink and when cold it turns to a vibrant coral. It also has original unicorn pigment and sister pigments mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Don Deeva | Kiki, Do You Love Pee? (Cold Reactive Thermal)

Kiki, Do You Love Pee? has incredible color shift to it. This is another cold reactive shade, but I found it a little harder to photograph than Lala’peelooza.

Kiki, Do You Love Pee? is a sheer, blue grey tinged white base when room temp/warm and it transitions to a baby blue or turquoise when cold/freezing. Since it’s so warm here, the cold state would barely hold for my photos. I had the room a/c unit pulled up to me with my nails in the vent to “freeze” them (since the ice pack wasn’t doing it for me) but my body temp and room temp was taking over and transitioning it QUICK. So.. most photos don’t show it. I only got 1 to kind of show it, and the other it’s fading quick. I really want to wear this in the winter when my hands are popsicles.

This is also loaded with original unicorn pigment and sister pigments. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Keep in mind, the turquoise vibrancy is much more pronounced in person, it’s fading in all of my photos.

Don Deeva | Switchblades & Mermaids

Switchblades & Mermaids is a deep teal tinged blue linear holographic with super tiny holographic flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The mermaid tail ring shown in the final photo will come with the purchase as well.

Don Deeva | Two Words, 1 Finger (Magnetic)

2 Words, 1 Finger is a deep eggplant base loaded with teal to magenta to purple magnetic pigment as well as original unicorn pigment and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Don Deeva | Trash Panda

Trash Panda is a stunning blurple jelly base with red to bronze to gold shifting flakes, holo flakes, unicorn pigment and sister pigments. Super shifty and super fun. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Don Deeva | Ocean Eyes Oops (Thermal)

So Ocean Eyes was released in March, and it was a ‘one and done’ situation, but people were begging for it to come back. This isn’t the original one, it’s an ‘oops’ version – but just as beautifully done.

Ocean Eyes Oops is a dusty almost cornflower-like blue (cold) to colorless (warm) thermal loaded with shifty opal flakes and holo flakes. I used 3 thin cots and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Don Deeva | Rated D (Thermal)

Rated D is a medium dark blue tinged grey (cold) to light taupe (warm) thermal loaded with original unicorn pigment and sister pigments, as well as holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Don Deeva | Princess BubbleYUM

Princess BubbleYUM is a neon pink crelly base with aurora shimmer mixed in. My photos lean more into coral territory but it’s more pink in person. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Don Deeva | June 2019 Releases

Again, I apologize for only having mid transition photos, but this heat is no joke right now – and without central air… it’s hard to get full cold shots.

I had no application issues with any of these shades.
