I have pretty much been listening to the Grease soundtrack since this collection landed on my desk – and as I type up this post – I’m watching it on my second monitor.

Today we’re going to be looking at the OPI Summer 2018 Grease Collection! Summer lovin’ had me a blast, Summer lovin’ happened so fast…

The OPI Summer 2018 Grease Collection is a 12 piece collection with a variety of colors to choose from. We have a little pastel, a little bright and then dip down into some darker shades.

I used to watch Grease regularly. My sisters and I pretty much wore out 2 VHS tapes when I was younger just from rewatching it so often. When I heard OPI was doing a collection inspired by it – I was over the moon!

Let’s jump in and take a look at this set up. There are also 3 ‘Leather Like Finishes’ shades and I will be showing those in another post.

OPI Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milkshakes is a soft white creme. I actually prefer white cremes like this one since they aren’t as harsh against the skin. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

OPI Meet A Boy Cute As Can Be is a pale buttery yellow creme. I don’t wear yellows well (my skintone typically isn’t yellow friendly) but this is a much mellower shade and easy to wear. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Overall, I enjoyed this collection. A lot of the colors feel familiar – but the application of these were better than I expected. Even the lighter, almost pastel like shades had incredible application and opacity. No chalkiness to them.
