September 2019 Releases
First up today we’re going to be looking at the Night Owl Lacquer September 2019 Releases!
I’m moving right along with reviews – this is another set that I had to completely redo when I lost all those photos last week. I have redone all the swatches and started on the posts, so the hard part is over. Everything you are about to see here released at the end of September and is ready to jump in your carts and head to a new home!
We have a couple things going on here – we’re going to be looking at the Halloween Playlist Collection, the September and October Creme of the Month shades, Night Owl Lacquer’s 3 Year Anniversary polish, and a trio created for the Polish My Fandom Facebook group!
Because there’s so much and different ordering dates for each set, I’ll be posting a small collage of the “sets” with pricing info and dates you can grab them to try to make it easier to follow.
We will start with the September & October Creme of the Month shades and 3 Year Anniversary polish!

Night Owl Lacquer | It Mustard Been Love
It Mustard Been Love is a mellow mustard yellow creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is the September Creme of the Month shade.
Night Owl Lacquer | Radioactive
Radioactive is an intense yellow leaning neon lime green creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
It’s slightly greener in person. I did find it to have slight self leveling issues, but thinner coats helped prevent it.
This is the October Creme of the Month.
Night Owl Lacquer | Star Gazing
Star Gazing is the 3 Year Anniversary shade! This is a green to teal to plum to burgundy multichrome loaded with holographic microflakes and a scattered holo effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Polish My Fandom trio are custom shades made for the Polish My Fandom Facebook Group.

Night Owl Lacquer | Waiting For My Letter
Waiting For My Letter was inspired by the Hogwarts Houses and the letter all Harry Potter fans wish to receive! This is a pale, yellow tinged beige crelly base loaded with blue, green, red and gold holographic glitters in square and hex, as well as a sprinkling of scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | I Solemnly Swear That I’m Up To No Good
I Solemnly Swear That I’m Up To No Good was inspired by the Marauders Map. This is a deep burgundy jelly base loaded with coppery shimmer, charcoal shimmery flakes, gold to copper ultrachrome chameleon flakes and gold crystal flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Mischief Managed
Mischief Managed was inspired by the Marauders Map as well, and it’s a pale, yellow tinged neutral crelly base with copper shimmer, charcoal sparkle flakes and burgundy to red to copper to gold ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

4 of these shades are jelly based glitters and will have a light texture. You should only need 1 coat of top coat to smooth, but if you use a really thin top coat, you might need 2 coats.

Pumpkin Head Harvey is a slighty dusty, medium orange jelly with charcoal sparkle flakes and orange holo glitters in various sizes and shades of orange. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Flying Purple People Eater is a cool toned, deep purple jelly base with charcoal sparkle flakes and purple holo glitters in various shades, sizes and shapes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Thriller is a slightly murky green jelly base with charcoal sparkle flakes and a blend of green holographic glitters that vary in size, shape and shade. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Monster Mash is a black jelly base loaded with charcoal sparkle flakes, as well as purple, green and orange holographic glitters in various shapes and sizes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | This Is Halloween
This Is Halloween is a clear based topper filled with a blend of various sizes and shapes of purple, green, orange and black holographic glitters. I used 1 coat over Radioactive for these photos.
