Night Owl Lacquer has a new monthly polish she’ll be doing… and it’s all about the CREMES! Instead of random monthly polishes with a wide range, they will always be a creme. So today we’re looking at the first shade – Wild Summer Winds.
First off I’m going to apologize for my photos. Apparently to kick this off, Night Owl Lacquer decided to go with one of the hardest shades to photograph. This particular shade is harder than most neons I’ve received. It’s teal… but for photos it shows up a muted seafoam… and I suck at photoshop.
This is my long winded way of saying my photos aren’t color accurate.
I tried. I really tried. But… it didn’t happen.
Let’s take a look. I’ll describe it and say what the difference is in person vs my photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Wild Summer Wind
Wild Summer Wind is a vibrant green leaning teal creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In person, this is a slightly brighter shade and it has a little more blue in it.
Night Owl Lacquer August Creme Of The Month | Wild Summer Winds
I do love cremes and use them a lot, so a monthly creme is a nice addition. I already let Lindsay know she kicked the series off with one of the most difficult shades to photograph… but it’s still a beautiful shade, so it’s okay.
Application was really nice and it almost seemed like it had the “juicy” look like a jelly. I enjoyed it.

This shade will only be available the month of August, and then a new creme will come out for September!
