When I was 13, I couldn’t wait to be a “real adult” because by then, I wouldn’t have to deal with acne. I don’t know why I thought that way, but I did.  Here I am at 35, pretending to be a “real adult” and I still have acne. Once I hit about 25 I figured “Well, it’s still here so deal with it the best you can” and over time I tweaked my routine so that I could hide the acne more than anything, especially around my monthly cycle. Now I have my ultimate hormonal breakout rescue kit, and I’m going to share it with you.

About 6 months ago I introduced you to Zapzyt on my blog. Zapzyt is a line that isn’t meant to replace your skincare, but rather to work in conjunction WITH your current skincare during the more hormonal times. Basically when you feel the PMS come on, start implementing the Zapzyt line to keep it in check. Then when the time has passed, go back to your normal routine.

Zapzyt Spot Treatment Gel is probably my must have product out of the entire Zapzyt lineup. When I feel a zit coming on, I apply a spot the treatment gel to the problem area and can neutralize the issue before it pops up. This is especially good for important events to help prevent a pimple disaster.

Let’s take a look at what’s in My Hormonal Breakout Rescue Kit :

Zapzyt Spot Treatment Gel: When I feel a problem zit coming, I quickly use the Zapzyt Spot Treatment Gel to keep it under control. It contains 10% benzoyl peroxide, which works to kill the bacteria that causes acne, leaving behind clearer skin.

NYX Angel Veil Primer: Now I want a clean canvas to work on. I have to go to work and I don’t want to look like I’m having major skin issues, so we do what we can to mask it. NYX Angel Veil Primer smooths out my skins imperfections a bit plus gives a nice foundation for the powder I use.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream: With my pale skin, my hormonal breakouts tend to stand out like a sore thumb. I get a lot of redness and I need to tone it down. It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream is a spot concealer to even out skin tone and make those red spots a lot less obvious.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Erasing Powder: I finish it off with another Bye Bye Redness product – and it’s the powder foundation. I use a large fluffy brush to swipe all over my face and I’m finished.

With these 4 simple products I am able to fight the hormonal acne plus conceal any indication of it attempting to appear. If you suffer from hormonal breakouts, you can pick up Zapzyt Spot Treatment Gel at your local Walmart for under $6.00. As I mentioned earlier, there is an entire Zapzyt line of products including cleanser and cleanser.

I haven’t had to deal with any hormonal breakouts in a long time. My kids, on the other hand… Well, the’re all tweens and teens, so…

Zapzyt is great stuff! My daughter uses it, and she’s seeing a big difference already. We’re really impressed with it.

I have been having a lot more breakouts lately. I will have to give the Zapzyt lineup a try. I was lucky as a teenager and had fairly clear skin. My acne did not start until I had my Son.

I’ve never tried using zapzyt before! It’s perfect for breakouts, without a doubt. Especially when you’re a lot younger and experiencing pimples and acne.

Sometimes I experience breakout on my skin due to so much stress. I haven’t tried it yet but I am sure it will be effective.

Listen, I felt the same ways as a kid. Now as an adult I never thought that I would have to worry my skin. WRONG! I turned 30 and it got real teenagery on my face.

I hate zits and breakouts-they’re no fun at all. I’ll have to look into this, my pregnancy hormones have totally caused some skin issues.
