Beavis and Butthead Collection

I’m posting this a tad late, but I realized I had these on my desk for a couple weeks, but hadn’t seen any info on them. Well, now I have a little for reference, so here we are! Sorry for the delay – things have been crazy!

Tonight we’ll be looking at the LynB Designs & Wildflower Lacquer Beavis and Butthead Collection! Each maker did 2 polishes for this collab.

Now I’ll be honest, I never fully got into Beavis and Butthead, but it was what EVERYONE watched and mimicked when I was in Junior High. You couldn’t get through a day at school without someone doing the laugh (you all know the laugh) and while it was childish, it still brought on the giggles. Some impressions were downright awful and others were so good it was scary.

This quad is already available and the preorder for it will end on the 9th of August.

Let’s jump in

LynB Designs | I Am Cornholio

I Am Cornholio is a dusty purple shimmer crelly base with blue to gold flakes, purple shimmer and gold to bronze to silver ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LynB Designs | What up Beavis?

Whooo boy – thermals are testing me lately. It’s been in the high 90s -low 100’s here for the past couple weeks. Usually with thermals I have to find a heat source because my hands are always cold. Not this time. I have to find a cold source to chill em out… but it’s not working. By the time the color goes “cold” they switch back to warm before I can do photos. So here you see them mid transition, but both colors ARE visible.

What Up Beavis? is a deep blurple to pink thermal with aqua to purple shifting shimmer and a subtle linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these  photos.

Wildflower Lacquer | What up Butthead

What Up Butthead? is a teal crelly base with rose pearl flakes and a subtle linear holographic effect. It’s a touch bluer in person. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Wildflower Lacquer | Shut up Dillhole

The final shade is Shut Up Dillhole.

Can I be honest? Back when this was a big deal, I didn’t mind it. Now that I’m a parent – I have that “you better not say that to someone” mindset. Weird how things change when you get old.

Anyway – What Up Dillhole is a light pink pearl with ultrachrome chameleon microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

And there we have it! This isn’t my first time with LynB Designs (whom I adore) but it’s probably my second or third time trying Wildflower Lacquer and I’m loving her creations as well! All 4 applied beautifully – and i can say without a doubt the thermal transitioned easily.
