The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Eldritch Terrors Collection

Happy Thursday! It’s getting late and it was a LONG day at work. Took me a bit to unwind and I’m finally in the right headspace to start typing up posts. First up is Lemming Lacquer The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Eldritch Terrors Collection!

This is an 8 piece collection with shiftiness, shimmer, flakes and a little holo. There’s also 2 magnetics in here.

The Lemming Lacquer The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Eldritch Terrors Collection (that’s a mouthful) will be releasing Friday, September 17th at 7pm Central – so don’t miss out.

For a little photo info – I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I work during the day and spend weekend afternoons with my son, so I do my swatching at night and rarely have a chance for natural lighting. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link). I take all of my photos with a Nikon Coolpix L830 camera (affiliate link.)

Okay we have the basics done – let’s jump into this post.

Lemming Lacquer | The Darkness

The Darkness is a multichrome that shifts blue to purple to red. It’s a deeper multichrome with a beautiful, vampy shift. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lemming Lacquer | The Uninvited

The Uninvited is a forest green jelly base with purple to pink to gold to green shifting shimmer and blue to green to gold shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lemming Lacquer | The Weird

The Weird is a multichrome base that shifts from purple to red to copper to gold, with gold holographic microglitter and red to orange to gold to green color shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I did find this polish to lean into the thicker side. While I still found if fine to work with, if you prefer a thinner consistency – you will probably want to add a few drops of thinner.

Lemming Lacquer | The Perverse

The Perverse is a lemon jelly jelly based scattered holo with blue to green to gold, as well as red to orange to gold to green shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lemming Lacquer | The Cosmic (Magnetic)

The Cosmic is a dusty blackened blue jelly with gold and blue holographic sparks and gold to copper to green multichrome magnetic flakes.

The flakes for me are harder to get a more uniform or “crisp” line with, but I do love the loose, diffused line I get. It’s possible to get a sharper line – I just am not that talented apparently.

I only magnetized the middle and ring fingers for these photos and left the other 2 unmagnetized.

Lemming Lacquer | The Returned

The Returned is a medium oxblood jelly based linear holographic with red to copper to gold to green shifting shimmer and gold holographic microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The shimmer in this one makes it look more of a rust colored shade.

Lemming Lacquer | The Endless

The Endless is a surprising favorite of mine. I thought it might be too “busy” but when I put it on I was like “Oh … hello”

The Endless is a blue to purple to red multichrome base (the base is essentially The Darkness shown above) with red-violet to pink to orange to gold color shifting flakes and holographic micro flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lemming Lacquer | The Void (Magnetic)

The Void is a pink to gold to green magnetic multichrome with pink to gold to green color shifting flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I only magnetized the middle 2 nails and left the outer 2 unmagnetized.

I did find this formula to be a touch thick, but it was still easy to work with. If you prefer thinner consistencies though, you may want to add a few drops of thinner.

Lemming Lacquer | The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Eldritch Terrors Collection

Another beautiful collection from Lemming Lacquer! I am loving all the shifty elements, and for this round – I have to say my favorites are: The Endless, The Cosmic, The Uninvited and The Void.

Application wise, a few of these do have a slightly thicker consistency which isn’t that unusual when flakes are involved. I did find them still workable and not all that thick – however, if you prefer a thinner formula then a few drops of thinner will bring it down a notch.
