Well, my son is staying the night at his friends house tonight, which means i had a chunk of free time to swatch a large collection. I think I did this at record speed too since I got all 12 polishes swatched, cropped and watermarked (and collaged) in about 2 hours. What collection am I speaking of? The KBShimmer Spring 2017 Nauti By Nature Collection!

This is a 12 piece nautical themed collection with a nice mix of holographics, shimmers and glitter crellies! There weren’t any glitter crellies in the last collection,so I was really excited to see them make an appearance in time for Spring.

This is going to be a fairly large post, so let’s get cracking. I’m also kind of tired, so lets hope I make it through the whole thing tonight!

All of these photos were taken using KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat and Fillin’ Groovy Base Coat. I did do 1 matte look with a polish, and for the matte top coat I also used a KBShimmer fav – Oh Matte! Matte Top Coat.

These lovelies will make their initial debut at The Indie Shop Atlanta on March 11th. So if you are going to that, you’ll have a chance to grab them. They will be available online on March 18th.

 Tropic Like It’s Hot

Tropic Like It’s Hot is a medium toned turquoise linear holographic. It’s slightly more green tinged in person, but just a bit more. I used 2 coats and top coat for these photos.

Got It Sandaled

Got It Sandaled is a deepened dusty lavender creme base with pinky violet shimmer throughout. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salt Water Sassy 

Salt Water Sassy is an aqua minty crelly base packed with yellow, coral, turquoise, and white matte glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Saved By The Shell

Saved by The Shell is a top pick for me! This is a peachy sand creme base with coppery pink shimmer that is shy until it hits the light. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Show Me The Mahi

Show Me The Mahi is a squishy blue jelly base packed with lime and teal holographic hexes as well as iridescent glitters that shift from green to red to orange. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The first 4 photos show it with glossy top coat, then I’ll show 4 photos with Oh Matte! top coat.

Starfishing For Compliments

Starfishing For Compliments is a soft offwhite crelly base with white, black, aqua and coral hex glitters, as well as black and aqua small matte star glitters. i used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tempting Fête

Tempting Fête is a white crelly base with gold, purple, pink, green and orange hex glitters, as well as micro bar glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Copa-Banana

Copa-Banana is a super sunny golden yellow linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Keep Palm and Carry On

Keep Palm And Carry On is a rich rich linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is a touch brighter in person. For some reason my camera was pulling a deeper hue.

Latitude Adjustment

Latitude Adjustment is my hands down favorite from this collection. This is a medium periwinkle linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Macaw Me Maybe

Macaw Me Maybe is a bright, warm toned red linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos

The Girl Is Tiki

The Girl Is Tiki is a rusty coral linear holographic. It’s actually a really interesting shade on. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer Spring 2017 Nauti By Nature Collection Overview

And there you have it! The KBShimmer Spring 2017 Nauti By Nature Collection in it’s entirety.

I didn’t have any application issues with these. All 6 linear holographics have a thin jelly base and glide on with little effort. Although their bases seem thin, they are quite opaque. The crellies all had a great consistency and the glitters were nicely distributed within them, so no issues there. The shimmers were just magnificent.
