In Good Spirits Collection

Happy Monday! I have the KBShimmer In Good Spirits collection on the blog today to share – and this is the Winter 2021 collection.

The KBShimmer In Good Spirits collection is a 12 piece collection that includes 3 reflective polishes, a couple toppers and a whole lotta shiftiness.

All 12 of these are set to release on November 19th, along with a new cuticle remover gel!

We’re gonna jump right into the swatches… get ready!

KBShimmer | A Little Cooler (Magnetic)

A Little Cooler is a silver magnetic holographic topper. I used 1 coat over KBShimmer Eclipse (black creme) and used a ring magnet on it’s side to repel the magnetic pigment out instead of drawing it into the center of the nail. I only magnetized the middle 2 nails so you can see it both ways.

It does have a holo effect, but my lighting is not one that accentuates holo.

KBShimmer | After Midnight (Reflective)

After Midnight is the first of 3 reflective polishes you’ll see in this post.

After Midnight is a black base with reflective micro glitters. It dries down with a matte finish and has a mild texture. I used 3 thin coats and top coat for these photos. If you want a plumper, smoother finish – use a glitter smoothing topper between the polish and the top coat.

The reflective glitter is almost like the same effect you see on a safety vest. It just reflects the light. I find these polishes sparkle an insane amount in brighter lighting or with a flash. I did include a photo with a flash as well (in all 3 reflective polish photo sets)

KBShimmer | All That Glimmers (Reflective)

All That Glimmers is the second reflective shade in the collection.

All That Glimmers is a soft rose gold base with micro reflective pigment. It dries down with a matte finish and has a mild texture. I used 3 thin coats and top coat for these photos. If you want a plumper, smoother finish – use a glitter smoothing topper between the polish and the top coat.

KBShimmer | Fizz The Season

Fizz The Season is a light pearl base with strong gold to copper shimmer and a linear holographic. I used3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | In Good Spirits

In Good Spirits is an iridescent topper that can be worn on it’s own or layered. I show 1 coat layered over KBShimmer Eclipse (black creme) and White Here White Now (white creme).

In Good Spirits shows shades of emerald green to fuchsia to purple and aqua over dark colors, and over lighter bases it shows more green to gold to lime to pink.

KBShimmer | Public Displays of Confection

Public Displays of Confection is a rusty red base loaded with pigment that shifts red to copper to bronze to gold to green and then blue at extreme angles. It also has holo flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Shake Things Up

Shake Things Up is a light pewter grey jelly base loaded with gold to bright green with holo flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Take A Bough

Take a Bough is a vibrant jade green with gold to lime to green color shifting shimmer and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Tapped Out (Reflective)

Tapped Out is a dark denim base with pink to green to gold shifting shimmer and silver reflective microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | What’s Poppin’

What’s Poppin’ is a bright magenta jelly base with green to aqua to purple shimmer and holo micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Worth A Shot

Worth A Shot is a cool toned grape purple jelly base packed with copper to gold to lime to green to blue shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Wrap It Up

Wrap It Up is a deep indigo base with red to orange to gold shifting shimmer and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | In Good Spirits Collection
