KBShimmer Limited Edition Flakie Collection Swatches & Review

KBShimmer has a very Limited Edition Flakie Collection releasing on December 1st, and I received all 6 to share with you today!

I am showing all 6 flakies over KBShimmer Eclipse to show each one over the same dark surface, but flakies also look fabulous over other dark cremes.

Lets get started!

Dark Matter

Dark Matter is a cobalt blue flakie top coat.  I used 1 coat for these photos.

Aurora

Aurora might be my favorite of the 6!  Aurora shifts from fiery orange to golden yellow to a gorgeous green.  I used 1 coat for these photos.

Flame Queen

Flame Queen is a red to orange to golden yellow to green shifting flakie.  I used 1 coat for these photos.

Lightning Ridge

Lightning Ridge is a teal to indigo blue shifting flakie top coat.  I used 1 coat for these photos.

Pinfire

Pinfire is a green to teal shifting flakie top coat.  I used 1 coat for these photos.

Rainbow Shield

Rainbow Shield is the multicolored flakie in the bunch!  You can see flakes in blue, teal, green, red, fiery orange and golden yellow throughout.  I used 1 coat for these photos.

And just for fun… my favorite thing to do with flakies!  MATTE THEM ALL (ok tonight I didn’t have time to do ALL, so this is Rainbow Shield with a matte top coat)

Overview

 Application wise – these were perfection.  I used 1 coat of each flakie top coat over KBShimmer Eclipse (black creme) and they all show beautifully and I got a good amount of flakes in just 1 coat.   I topped each flakie with Clearly On Top Fast Dry Top Coat, also from KBShimmer!
