After an incredibly busy week and a semi productive weekend, I’m back and I have a load of posts to type up! Last week was the last week of the quarter for my son and he had 2 reports to work on, plus some quarter end tests to study for that I was helping with. Friday I was supposed to have my upper right wisdom tooth and the molar next to it removed, but it was pushed back until November 3rd because there was still some infection present in the gums. Basically my wisdom tooth is impacted (all 4 are) and it migrated and pushed into my molar and cracked it.
Did I mention I’m scared of the dentist? I am. Doctors? Bring em on. Dentist? I become a shaky little wuss.
At any rate, now I am ready to type things up and get a move on with this backlog! First up we have the KBShimmer Fall 2017 Blogger Collaboration Collection!
This is a 14 piece collection that contains 12 polishes that were blogger collaboration shades and 2 are Christy’s creations. Guess what? One is made with me! I already showed you it, but I thought I would mention it again in case you missed that post.
This was the second blogger collaboration collection that KBShimmer has worked on. The first collection was back in Winter of 2013, and I was part of that one too. Of the original collection – only 2 of us returned for this new collaboration collection. Kinda sad so many incredible bloggers aren’t blogging anymore. If I remember correctly though, of all the initial collection bloggers – I’m the only one who’s still active.
This whole collection is already available, so we’re going to jump right into it!
Better Lake Than Never
Better Lake Than Never was created with Alicia from DeliciousNails. This is a vibrant blue with turquoise shimmery glow and it has holographic glow flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Pearls Gone Wild
Pearls Gone Wild was created with Amy from McPolish. This beauty is a mix of micro and small silver holographic glitters with a red to copper to gold to pink shifting shimmer that’s a little subtle among the holo sparkle. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
High-Rise To The Occasion
High-Rise To The Occasion was created with Michelle from EhmkayNails. This is a light dove grey creme with violet shimmer and rainbow metallic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I Don’t Want No Shrubs
I Don’t Want No Shrubs was created with Jen from My Nail Polish Obsession. This is a bright fuchsia crelly base with gold microflakes and shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade was just a touch on the thick side, but it still self leveled perfectly.
Stop And Smell The Rosé
Stop And Smell The Rosé is one of Christy’s contributions to the collection! This is a rose gold linear holographic that borders on copper in some lighting. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Pun-kin Spice Latte
Pun-kin Spice Latte was created with Valesha from Peachy Polish. This is a pumpkin orange meets terracotta creme base with copper shimmer mixed in. My camera pulled really orange for this and it’s mellower in person, much mellower.. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I do suggest checking out the listing for this shade to see the real shade. My camera was a jerk.
Oh My Gourd
Oh My Gourd is the second shade Christy added to the collection! This is a creamy butterscotch. Again, my camera pulled a little more orange, but this is much closer than my photos of Pun-kin Spice Latte.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Espresso Yourself was created with Gaby of Lacquerloon. This is a rich, warm chocolate jelly base packed with brown, copper and gold small and micro holographic glitters. If you love the Mega Flame polishes, you’ll love this one too. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer Fall 2017 Blogger Collaboration Collection Overview
There we have it! The full 14 piece KBShimmer Fall 2017 Blogger Collaboration collection! I didn’t have too much to report application wise. I Don’t Want No Shrubs was a touch thick, but it was still easy to work with.
There is a nice assortment of colors and finishes within this collection and it was beautifully done.
