Wick 3 Collection & Liquid Pixies

Happy Sunday! Our neighbors are setting of fireworks from both sides, so it’s a little loud here – but we get quite the light show from inside the house. I’d go outside – but a snake lunged at Nick in our backyard and I’m not going out there in the dark right now. I’m chicken, I know.

Tonight we’re going to be looking at the Jreine Wick 3 Collection and Liquid Pixies in Liquid Decadence and Liquid Radiance!

For the Wick 3 Collection we see a lot of colors that I’m all about – pink and purple tones. The Liquid Pixies I did over a skittle type mani to see a slight range – and I will show the starting base colors before hand so you know what I was working with.

Liquid Pixies… what are they? Well – we’ve pretty much all seen the Pixie kits Jreine has. Those who shop PPU have no doubt seen them in the PPU shop on months Jreine has participated – but we’ve also seen them in her shop. While I do find them fun – some aren’t into the powder thing. These are liquid versions of those shades. we have 2 to start with and while you won’t get the ultra smooth look of the powder – you will still get the fun shiftiness.

All 6 of these are set to release on July 9th (this coming Friday) so be ready – and let’s get this started.

Jreine | I Am The Throne

I Am The Throne is a deep, cool toned violet jelly base loaded with densely packed fuchsia to red to gold to orange with larger particle shimmer. Not quite micro fleck territory, but not a fine shimmer. The violet and fuchsia are the super prominent colors in the mani, but that gold peeks out quite often. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Tick Tock Mr Wick

Tick Tock Mr Wick is a vibrant magenta pink jelly base with fine, densely packed blue to red to gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Parabellum

Parabellum is a bright, medium violet jelly base with densely packed pink to gold to green-blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The green-blue shift shows at more extreme angles, but you will see it a bit more in person.

Jreine | Deconsecrated

Deconsecrated is a medium indigo jelly base with densely packed shimmer that almost gives it a metallic look minus the brushstrokes. The shimmer shifts from copper to bronze to gold to green to blue to violet. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Liquid Decadence

Liquid Decadence is a densely packed top coat with shimmer that shifts red to orange to gold. I used it over 2 deep shades and 2 light shades – and in hindsight, I should have swapped one of the dark shades for something else. I used 1 coat of Liquid Decadence over each shade.

Jreine | Liquid Radiance

Liquid Radiance is a pixie topper that consists of densely packed shimmer that shifts from golden green to brilliant blue. I used 1 coat over each color.

Jreine | Wick 3 Collection & Liquid Pixies

From this release, my top picks are I Am The Throne, Deconsecrated and Tick Tock Mr Wick. I had no application issues and despite the intense shimmer content – there were no brush strokes visible either which I was rather impressed with.
