Press Samples for Hella Handmade Creations | July 2020

Good morning! This is running a few days behind, but the sale isn’t over just yet – so I’m not totally late either. We’re going to be looking at 3 shades I have for the Hella Handmade Creations July 2020 shop!

I took a little less this month because I wasn’t sure where we would be at in the whole moving process. But man, the 3 I did are all stunning! I have offerings from Ethereal Lacquer, LynBDesigns and Necessary Evil Polish!

The shop opened on the 14th (as usual) and will remain open until the 21st. See, there’s still some time to shop!

Ethereal Lacquer | Medusa

Theme: Greek Mythology

Medusa is a sheer, pale stony jade jelly base loaded with bright emerald to sapphire shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. This is a sheer base and while the shimmer adds to the opacity – if you have a very visible nail line, you might need a base to cover it fully.

LynBDesigns | We Said Be Aloof Not A Doof

Theme: Friends TV Series

We Said Be Aloof Not A Doof is a thermal apparently and I totally missed that! Usually the bottles have a thermal sticker or something and mine didn’t and I didn’t know until after I did swatches. Unfortunately I pushed through swatching and then shipped this polish and many others to the new home.. so I can’t redo it right now. Check out the listing though for the transition shots from swatchers.

This is a blue to pink jelly based thermal with red to gold to green shifting flakes, holo shimmer, and red to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Necessary Evil Polish | What in the Name of Sanity Have You Got on Your Head?

Theme: Doctor Who

What in the Name of Sanity Have You Got on Your Head? is a ruby red jelly base with gold and silver holo flakes, scattered holo and purple shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a jelly but it has amazing opacity.
