So this post is long overdue! It came in while I was desperately trying to get real life things sorted and I did the photos, kept forgetting to upload to my blog (I’ve been typing posts on my lunch breaks at work) and so it was pushed back. But now, I have the Glisten & Glow Pirates Booty Collection to show you!

The Glisten & Glow Pirates Booty Collection is a 6 piece linear holographic collection that released a couple months ago. The shades all have a fairly strong linear effect with really pigmented colors that are truly stunning.

Let’s take a closer look.

Parrot’s Parlay

Parrot’s Parlay is a pink leaning red linear holographic. This has a sheerer appearance when first applied and was the only polish of the 6 that I needed 3 coats for.

Aye Spy Doubloons

Aye Spy Doubloons is a gold linear holographic with holographic gold microglitter added to give off sparks of color. This is the only shade in the collection that isn’t a straight linear holographic, but given the name, the microglitters look like miniature gold coins in the polish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

If you use a really thin top coat, a slightly thicker one (like HK Girl) would smooth this out entirely.

Blackbeard’s Booty

Blackbeard’s Booty is a black linear holographic with gold micro flakes that peek through. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Salty Dog’s Sea Legs

Salty Dog’s Sea Legs is a deep ocean blue linear holographic with blue shimmer added. This has an incredibly strong linear holographic effect and I didn’t experience any staining with it (blues can be tricky) I used 2 coats for these photos.

Shimmer Me Timbers

Shimmer Me Timbers probably has the most prominent linear holographic effect of all these shades. This is a stunning teal linear holographic with a subtle violet pink shimmer. I used 2 coats for these photos, and again, no staining issues.

Wench’s Wardrobe

Wench’s Wardrobe is actually my top pick for the collection. This is a super deep eggplant purple linear holographic with gold shimmer added. I used 2 coats for these photos.

This is a perfect Fall color.

Glisten & Glow Pirates Booty Collection Overview

This is a really nicely done linear holographic collection. The colors are perfect to wear year round, but especially during the chillier months. I had no application issues at all and my favorites are Wench’s Wardrobe, Shimmer Me Timbers and Salty Dog’s Sea Legs.
