Happy Friday! I have the Fandom Flakies Box for April 2021 to share, and this month’s inspiration is Queen of the Damned!

This month Baby Girl Lacquer is joining the Fandom Flakies Box, and Baby Girl Lacquer picked the theme for the month. Baby Girl Lacquer has been on my blog before – so it’s another familiar face from a maker who has been around for some time.

Ribbits Stickits is back again with another fab assortment of add ons as well, including water slide decals, acetone additive and cuticle & hand cream.

All this goodness joins Bee’s Knees Lacquer and Night Owl Lacquer – who are the hosts of this fab monthly box!

This set actually released a couple hours ago. I was hoping to have this up before, but then work got crazy and I just had a chance to sneak off and do the post.

So… lets jump in now!

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Consort

Consort is a scattered holographic base packed with silver holo flakes, and gold to red to purple holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Has a very mild texture and may need 2 coats of top coat to smooth depending on top coat thickness.

Night Owl Lacquer | Frailty

Frailty is a light-medium grey crelly base with purple to red to copper to gold crystal chameleon flakes and charcoal flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Baby Girl Lacquer | Queen Akasha: Mother of All Vampires (Solar)

Queen Akasha: Mother of All Vampires is a soft powder blue to soft orchid purple crelly based solar polish with assorted ultrachrome and iridescent shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The soft blue is indoors/out of UV light. The orchid shade is in UV light/sunlight.

Ribbits Stickits | Acetone Additive

Frogetaboutit Acetone Additive is a mixture of glycerine and oil and fragrance that you add to your acetone to help prevent drying and that white ashen skin look.

Most do add these to pure acetone, but i personally like using it in Zoya Remove +. Remove+ does already have it’s own built in additive in a sense, but I like the additional boost.

This is a 30ml bottles, so you could shake this bad boy up and potentially get up to 4 uses out of it, depending on how much you pour per bottle. Just make sure you shake it first to mix the oils and glycerine up.

“All Your Wishes Have Come True” which is described as a house blend of tea, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli, orange, rose, vanilla, tobacco, and oriental spices. 

To my nose, this scent is earthy and almost powdery musk floral like.

Ribbits Stickits | Hand & Cuticle Cream

Ribbits Stickits is also bringing a hand and cuticle cream in a scent that matches the acetone additive!

This hand and cuticle cream is thick enough so it can be used every day in small amounts, or slather it on at night for a more intensive treatment.

“All Your Wishes Have Come True” which is described as a house blend of tea, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli, orange, rose, vanilla, tobacco, and oriental spices. 

To my nose, this scent is earthy and almost powdery musk floral like.

Ribbits Stickits | Waterslide Decals

The final add on from Ribbits Stickits is Queen of the Damned waterslide decals!

These are like temporary tattoos but you put em on your nails. Cut out the design you want, place in warm water for about 10-15 seconds, lift and then slide the image off and place on the nail. Pat dry and remove air bubbles – then top coat to seal it in.

I’ve said it before – but I do love that Ribbits Stickits is offering more add on items for the shop. For those new to the box – only the polishes are included in the box and you can add on the additional items. I was happy to see Baby Girl Lacquer join Bee’s Knees and Night Owl as well, plus solar polishes are fun to play with.
