Fair Maiden Polish In Bloom

Tonight I have the Fantasmic Flakies Facebook group custom to share! This is Fair Maiden Polish In Bloom!

Before we get into the polish, we’re having a little story time. Not too many people really know some nail struggles, so I have few people around me to whine about this to.

It’s been one of those weeks.

On Monday my son had no school, so he was with his dad while I was at work. After work, I picked him up and while he was getting his things, I was playing with his dad’s pup. The pup knocked into me and my hand gripping my purse handle tightened, and the edge of my nail sliced through the pad of my thumb. If I bent my thumb I could FEEL the cut opening. It was gross.

Ugh.

Then on Tuesday morning at work, I realized my index nail (which cut into my thumb the night before) had a split in the nail that hadn’t fully gone through, but it was gonna be a goner. So at work, I did a quick tea bag nail patch (thank you to my coworker who had nail glue and my work for having the tea bags)

THEN (yeah… again) on Wednesday, I was messing with file folders and opening up the metal prongs inside of the folders … and sliced a nice chunk of skin off the side of my middle finger.

….

Of course all 3 injuries are on my swatch hand. All 3. It wasn’t my week. I still swatched, and in case you were unaware, remover in these cuts will bring tears to your eyes.

So that’s been my week so far, and I have work tomorrow (yay tax season!) so I’m hoping I don’t lose a digit.

Ok, now for what you are really here for… Fair Maiden Polish In Bloom! This is a beautiful multichrome holographic flake polish created as a group custom for the Fantasmic Flakies Facebook Group.

Fair Maiden Polish In Bloom

Fair Maiden Polish In Bloom is a violet multichrome that shifts to a spring green with a linear holographic effect, and multichrome flakes that shift from aqua to teal to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fair Maiden Polish In Bloom Overview

In Bloom will be available in the Fantasmic Flakies Facebook Group for the entire month of March, but after that, it’s gone forever. Application wise – everything was great. First coat was a bit sheer, but it built up nicely and I used 3 thin coats for full opacity.

You do need to be a member of the Fantasmic Flakies Facebook Group to purchase this custom, so don’t forget to join! More customs will be in there as the months go on, so it’s worth it ;)

Haha, you are a one-woman demolition derby! This is why I have “safety nails” aka rounds. I scrape and gouge myself enough as is!

I’ve never done this to myself… except that one time I woke up with a scratch on my face. I blamed Nick.
