Anchorman – The Legend of Ron Burgundy Collection

Tax season is almost done! I already have about 57 hours clocked this week and I still have tomorrow to work. After Monday I have a full week off to enjoy. I’d like to say “to sleep in” but I have a child and I still have to drag my butt out of bed by 6am to get him up and head to his school. However, on the way home I can swing through Starbucks and then get home and swatch to catch up on all the pretties that have hit my doorstep.

I also finally did my taxes today.

Tonight we’re going to look at the Dollish Polish Anchorman – The Legend of Ron Burgundy Collection! This released a few hours ago – so the site is loaded and ready for you to shop!

The Dollish Polish Anchorman – The Legend of Ron Burgundy Collection consists of 8 shades with a variety of finishes and shades. I’ll admit, it’s been awhile since I have seen this movie – but the names sparked a lot of laughs.

Ready to take a look?

Dollish Polish | Milk Was A Bad Choice

Milk Was A Bad Choice is a creamy dusty white crelly base with gunmetal micro flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dollish Polish | Stay Classy San Diego

Stay Classy San Diego is a peacock teal crelly. I personally describe it as a crelly, but it has more opacity than a typical crelly does. It still has the squishy jelly look though. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dollish Polish | Tits McGee

Tits McGee is a slightly dusty rose gold metallic micro flake. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is loaded with microflakes, but it actually was incredibly smooth and had no noticeable texture to it.

Dollish Polish | Afternoon Delight

Afternoon Delight is an avocado green crelly base with emerald shimmer, green and black micro glitters and ultra chrome chameleon flakes that shift green and bronze. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dollish Polish | I’m Kind Of A Big Deal

I’m Kind Of A Big Deal is a deep burgundy red with aurora shifting shimmer. Because of the red base, I honestly can’t tell what the aurora shimmer color is, but you see some gold peeking through. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dollish Polish | I’m In A Glass Case of Emotion!

I’m In A Glass Case Of Emotion is my top pick of the set. This is a blue leaning grey crelly base with scattered holo flakes and micro glitters, as well as chameleon iridescent flakes that show a rainbow assortment of colors. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dollish Polish | I Love Scotch. Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch

I Love Scotch. Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch. is a rich butterscotch yellow linear holographic. In the bottle it looks a touch green tinged, but on the nail that tinge wasn’t there. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dollish Polish | Sex Panther

Sex Panther is a black jelly base packed with micro glitters in mahogany brown with pewter and black holo flakes and glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade dries with a bit of texture, so you might need 2 coats of top coat to smooth it completely. I do recommend thin coats with this, if you do thick ones you don’t have as good of control of glitter distribution and it may apply with even more texture or an unevenness.

Dollish Polish | Anchorman – The Legend of Ron Burgundy Collection

This collection has a little of everything in it! I had no application issues and for swatching at 5am… I didn’t do too bad. My top picks are: I’m In A Glass Case Of Emotion!, Milk Was A Bad Idea and I’m Kind Of A Big Deal.
