Are we ready for more DIFFERENT dimension Shooting Star Series shades? I have this weeks to show you tonight and they are named Ursa Major and Ursa Minor!

Ursa Major and Ursa Minor are constellations that are also known as Big Bear and Little Bear!

Ursa Major (Latin: “Larger Bear”; also known as the Great Bear and Charles’ Wain) is a constellation visible throughout the year in most of the northern hemisphere. It can be seen best in the month of April.

Ursa Minor (Latin: “Smaller Bear”, contrasting with Ursa Major), also known as the Little Bear, is a constellation in the northern sky. Like the Great Bear, the tail of the Little Bear may also be seen as the handle of a ladle, hence the name Little Dipper.

If you are new to the DIFFERENT dimension’s Shooting Star Series, these are limited edition shades that release on a set date (this set will release this Friday at 9PM EST!) and once they are sold out, they are gone.  If you wish to see past Shooting Star Series shades, you can see my previous reviews.  These are no longer available, but you might find someone willing to sell if they got one that didn’t work out for them.

Now lets take a look at DIFFERENT dimension’s interpretations of these constellations!

Ursa Major

Ursa Major

Ursa Major is a black jelly base packed with silver holographic micro glitters and micro shreds. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage and a glossy top coat.

Ursa Minor

Ursa Minor

Ursa Minor is a beautiful rose gold shimmery base with gold holographic micro glitter, dark purple glitter and violet shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ursa Minor Macro

Ursa Minor Up

Both of these are beautiful – but if you can only grab 1 – my pick would be Ursa Minor. If you can grab both though, do it.

The overall tone of Ursula Minor is so pretty and delicate, and the sparkle in Ursula Major is amazing!

I love both of them, but I am a space nerd.

Lisa Heath August 27, 2015 - 8:32 pm

I can see a lot of ‘space nerds’ loving these!

Simona August 27, 2015 - 11:29 am

For some reason whenever I look at the sky the Ursa Minor is the first constellation I always spot. And the polish associated or inspired by it is so pretty. I think I should really get it!

Lisa Heath August 27, 2015 - 8:33 pm

I think you should get it as well!

Lothwen August 27, 2015 - 11:33 am

I actually wasn’t ready for this. They’re too beautiful. So beautiful it hurts!

Lisa Heath August 27, 2015 - 8:33 pm

I wasn’t ready either. Missi nailed these!

Polished Hippy August 27, 2015 - 6:07 pm

Ohh, I’ll have to make up my mind soon. I love these but have been cutting down on my glitter purchases. Watch me cave, lol.

Lisa Heath August 27, 2015 - 8:34 pm

What’s this ‘cutting down on glitter’ nonsense?! :p

Katie Rae Nystuen August 28, 2015 - 2:54 pm

I like them both but I Love Ursa Minor with it’s flashes of purple mixed in with the gold.

Jenny Gilmore August 29, 2015 - 4:42 am

Ursa Minor is so complex! I love it!
