DIFFERENT dimension 90’s Trio

I have a new neon trio to share with you tonight, and it’s the DIFFERENT dimension 90’s Trio! I also did some mediocre nail art to go along with it. They work well for nail art, I’m just not that great at nail art in general, but I get by. I was pretty happy with what I did though.

So the DIFFERENT dimension 90’s Trio is a simple 3 piece neon collection consisting of neon yellow, neon blue and neon pink. No shimmers or holo this time around – just straight cremes. I did find these to be leaning to the thick side, which makes them ideal for stamping (haven’t tried, but others have done successful stamps with them) but they water marbled beautiful (which I did!) and other easy techniques.

This trio is ONLY available as a set, they will not be stocked individually. They are also Limited Edition so once they are gone, they will not be restocked.

Let’s take a look at each shade then I will share my nail art!

OMG

OMG is a perfect neon medium pink.  When you think of neon pink, this is it. Not too light, not too dark. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dope

Dope is a neon highlighter yellow. It’s actually brighter in person. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bomb

Bomb is  a neon blue creme. It’s a little brighter in person than my photos show. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Water Marble

It’s been 2.5 – 3 years since I’ve done a water marble – but I did it easily with Dope and Bomb for this water marble!

Nail Vinyls

I used nail vinyls for this one! I used Darling Diva Polish You’re So Hot You Melt The Plastic In My Underwear as the black creme over Dope. A little messy, but it worked. It’s harder to tell the lines are wonky in person.

DIFFERENT dimension 90’s Trio Overview

Overall a nice, simple neon trio. As I said in the beginning, these 3 neons are a little on the thicker side, but manageable. They weren’t so thick I couldn’t work with them though.  The water marble was incredibly easy and I did that on my first go with each nail, and I’m rusty with them. Since it’s been awhile I was settling in for a night of water marble, but I completed it in about 15 minutes. Like riding a bike… kinda.  Could use a little work, but much better than I expected.

This trio is ONLY available as a set and they are Limited Edition – so once they are sold out, they will not be restocked.

These are giving me total high school flash backs! I love that highlighter yellow (Dope), I find that color so hard to find in a good formula. And your water marble is awesome, I can’t do it to save my life!

The marbled look is really cool. Is that hard to do?

It definitely takes some practice! I started doing them 6 years ago, but it’s been a few years since I did one… and I apparently still have it!
