I have a fun Mother’s Day Duo to share with you today! It’s the Cupcake Polish & Ginger Fizz Boutique Mother’s Day Duo!
What makes this duo extra special? The creators are a mother and daughter team! That’s right, Shelly of Ginger Fizz Boutique is Sara’s mom! I had the pleasure of meeting both of them a couple years ago at Cosmoprof NA and they were absolutely adorable!
You all know I’ve been working with Cupcake Polish for several years now, before Christmas I bought a few of Ginger Fizz Boutique’s bath bombs (the macaroon bath bombs sets!) and gave them as Christmas gifts and everyone LOVED them! Me as well. They are nicely scented and work really well, and presentation was perfect!
Ok let’s take a look at this duo!
Cupcake Polish When Tulips Meet
When Tulips Meet is a light pink linear holographic with silver flakes, pink to orange shifting flakes and iridescent glitters. So much going on in this magical bottle! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ginger Fizz Boutique Fruity Tulip Bath Bomb
Ginger Fizz Boutique’s Fruity Tulip Bath Bomb smells incredible. It lightly colors the water pink and has a really mild fruity scent with citrus notes in it. I can’t pick up specific scents, but it does have that nice citrus zing to it.
I’m actually a bath bomb nut and have a couple uses for them. The bath (obviously), break into smaller pieces for mani soaks OR (one of my favorites) break it down and put some pieces into a new sock, tie it off and hide under the passenger seat of your car. It will scent your car and it lasts quite awhile. In the warmer months the scent is stronger, so smaller amounts are needed.

Thanks for the tips about the bath bombs too. My tub is super shallow so I haven’t taken an actual bath in over 14 years. I never thought about using them in pieces as mani bombs instead!

I am personally not too fond of glittery nail polishes. I found that they tend to flake and chip very quickly. The red is pretty though.
