I have a very fun and colorful collection to share with you tonight! The Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection!

That’s right! The newest Cupcake Polish collection is themed after a game that most people my age have played (and I know kids my son’s age still play it!) and that’s Candy Land! I played this over and over and over again with my sisters when I was younger! I was so excited when these shades arrived  because I immediately knew what the collection was when I saw the polish names.

Each shade in this collection has a super vivid jelly base and is packed with holographic microglitters which give them each a ton of sparkle. While the bases are jelly, I found I only needed 2 coats of each for full coverage, thanks to all the microglitter.

Let’s look at each shade up close! These beauties release on April 2nd, so prepare your bank account.

Cupcake Polish – Mr. Mint

Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection Mr Mint

Mr Mint is a bright pink jelly base with holographic silver microglitter mixed in. I used 2 easy coats and glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish – Lord Licorice

Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection Lord Licorice

Lord Licorice is a strawberry red jelly base with silver holographic microglitters mixed in.  In person, this shade has a touch more pink in the red base, so it definitely leans to a pinker red rather than a full red like my photos show.

I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish – Princess Lolly

Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection Princess Lolly

Princess Lolly is a bright yellow jelly base packed with silver holographic microglitters. i used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish – Plumpy

Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection Plumpy

Plumpy is a grass green jelly base packed with silver holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish – Queen Frostine

Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection Queen Frostine

Queen Frostine is a denim blue jelly base packed with silver holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish – Jolly

Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection Jolly

Jolly is a bright purple jelly base packed with silver holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection Overview

Cupcake Polish Candy Land Collection

Such a fun, bright collection! Offhand, I don’t think I have any collections based on Candy Land so I was happy to see this! That and it brings back some amazing childhood memories. When my mom was dating my step dad, he lived about an hour from us, so we would go there for the weekends. My sister and I would play Candy Land with his daughter while we watched tv (usually TGIF shows!)

All 6 shades had great application. Because of the glitter content though, you might need 2 coats of top coat for a completely smooth finish. I only used 1 in these photos, and while it’s a thick top coat, it didn’t completely smooth them. It did get close though!

My Top Picks: Mr. Mint, Jolly and Lord Licorice

Price: $13.00 Each

Release Date: April 2nd at 2pm CST
