It’s Friday, and almost the start of a 3 day weekend! It’s supposed to hit 111 today where I am, and tomorrow won’t be much better. I know some areas are used to that kind of heat, but I’m not.  I just wanted to whine a little cause I’m a wimp.

Anyways, today I have a few fun posts lined up – and I’m starting with Crazy 4 Crellies Pop Goes The Zombie CrellyCrate!

The 5 makers in the Crazy 4 Crellies Pop Goes The Zombie CrellyCrate are Polish ‘M, Painted Polish, Le Polish, Ellagee, and Lollipop Posse Lacquer. All 5 makers used 1 insanely amazing avant-garde inspiration piece to base all of their polishes off of, and I love that I can visually pick out who based theirs on which part of the photo.

This is a Pop Art Zombie look done by Ellie35x On Instagram and seriously look through her other work, it’s INSANE. She’s only 19 and her facepaint and makeup skill is mind boggling. Pop over and give her a follow. You won’t regret it.

So this look by Ellie35x is the inspiration for the Crazy 4 Crellies Pop Goes the Zombie CrellyCrate. Let’s dive into each polish and see what each maker came up with! At the bottom of this post all release and order info will be available.

Polish ‘M Corpses of Cheer

Polish ‘M Corpses of Cheer is a cool toned nude crelly base with delicate pink shimmery glass flecks, as well as micro matte glitters in yellow, black, blue and white. The glitters are in assortments of hex and squares. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Painted Polish Hocus Pocus Party

Painted Polish Hocus Pocus Party is a white crelly base packed with sky blue, gold, black and magenta microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

le Polish Everybody Scream

le Polish Everybody Scream is a neon pink crelly base laced with blue shimmer, as well as gold and black shred glitters, ultrachrome chameleon flakes that shift blue to green to purple to red.

Ellagee Spooky Little Girl

 

Ellagee Spooky Little Girl is a medium sky blue crelly base packed with pink, aqua and gold shimmery glass micro flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lollipop Posse Lacquer Whisper to a Scream

The final shade in the Crazy 4 Crellies Pop Goes The Zombie CrellyCrate is Lollipop Posse Lacquer Whisper To A Scream! This is a rich black crelly base with neon pink and blue matte micro glitters, neon pink matte small square glitters, very subtle aqua shimmer and a sprinkling of holographic shimmer.

This isn’t your typical Halloween like box, and I’m kind of loving it. The inspiration photo is perfection (again, I recommend you check out Ellie35x On Instagram and see how talented that girl is!) and I feel like each maker took the inspiration and brought out their A game to do the photo justice.

Considering it is the Crazy 4 Crellies box, obviously all 5 polishes have crelly bases. I do apply with thin coats, so I usually need 3 thin coats for an opacity I’m happy with, but a few of these polishes get the same opacity in 2 medium to thick coats just as well.
