I’ll get one more post done before I head to bed! Last up today I have the BLUSH Lacquers Flower Gathering Collection!

BLUSH Lacquers Flower Gathering Collection is a 6 piece collection full of shimmer and sparkle! If you purchase the full 6 piece collection you will also receive a special 7th shade, which I also have to show you.

The Flower Gathering collection was inspired by the poem by Robert Frost of the same name:

I left you in the morning,
And in the morning glow
You walked a way beside me
To make me sad to go.

Do you know me in the gloaming?
Gaunt and dusty grey with roaming.
Are you dumb because you know me not?
Or dumb because you know?

All for me? And not a question,
For the faded flowers gay
That could take me from beside you
For the ages of a day.

They are yours and be the measure
Of their worth for you to treasure,
The measure of the little while
That I’ve been long away.

Also… Girly Bits will be carrying BLUSH Lacquers now! So any international ladies itching to try this brand now has easier access to it!

Let’s jump right in.

Gloaming Roaming

Gloaming Roaming is a soft, dusty cornflower blue crelly base with a delicate blue green shimmer and packed with holographic flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Faded Flowers

Faded Flowers is actually my favorite from this collection. This is a soft neutral ballet pink with delicate red shimmer and packed with holographic flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Measure Of Treasure

Measure Of Treasure is a soft, pastel lime green crelly base with red microflake shimmer and holographic flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ages Of A Day

Ages Of A Day is a muted seafoam green crelly base with delicate blue shimmer and silver holographic flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

All For Me?

All For Me? is a soft lavender crelly base with pink micro flakes shimmer and holographic silver flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Know Me Not

Know Me Not is a soft rosy pink crelly base with blue shimmer and holographic flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Morning Glow

Morning Glow is the bonus shade you’ll receive if you purchase the full Gathering Flowers collection. This is a delicate baby pink crelly base with delicate green shimmer and holographic flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

BLUSH Lacquers Flower Gathering Collection Overview

Ok I’m going to start with application on this collection because it took a sec to get the hang of it. I had to use thin coats for these shades because of the flake content. When I used thicker coats the flakes would buckle and form a tepee. When I used thinner coats I avoided this issue for the most part. I would get a stray here or there, but I just used a dotting tool to push em back into place with no issue. Aside from that, application was fine. I was half expecting something with the amount of flakes loaded into each polish.

The shimmer is more obvious in person. It’s not blaring, but it’s more obvious than in photos.

Right now all 6 shades are on preorder status in the shop, but will be restocked fully on May 12th. You can still order – but it will take a 2-3 weeks to receive (maybe 4) so be aware of that if you order before May 12th.

Overall I do enjoy this collection and it’s different than a lot of polishes I have.

My Top Picks: Gloaming Roaming, Faded Flowers and Ages Of A Day

Price: $10.25 Each | $61.50 Full Collection (Plus you’ll receive Morning Glow free)
