Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The Lore Olympus Collection

Good morning and happy Friday! It’s been a whirlwind week, otherwise I would have had this post up earlier as intended. My 40th birthday was on Tuesday and I got some new stuff including a nice airfryer, so I was playing with that. Plus my baby boy started driver’s education this past Monday – so there’s some running around for that. But… I’m not late. The Bee’s Knees Lacquer The Lore Olympus Collection is releasing tonight!

We’re going to look at the Bee’s Knees Lacquer Lore Olympus Collection, then my next post will have the 5 Lore Olympus Mysteries as well as the Monthly Monster.

This collection has a little bit of everything – shimmers, magnetics, flakes, Unicorn Pee, and reflective glitters. There will also be a 25% off sitewide (not including UP polishes) but this also means the full collection listings will NOT have the UP polishes included. So if you want a full set – add the listing, then add the individual UP polishes in to complete it.

There is also a new base coat available! Spirit is a ridge filling base coat. There is also a new Level Up Hand Cream, which is made with soothing help, oat and marula oil.

Let’s jump on in and see what we have in store.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Persephone (Magnetic)

Persephone is a deep olive green jelly base with pink to gold to green multichrome magnetic pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | I Need A Positive Navigator

I Need A Positive Navigator is a soft coral pink with larger particle shimmer that shifts aqua to purple. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This was a top pick for me. I didn’t think it would be when I got it, but when I put it on … it just looked good on.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Hades (Magnetic)

Hades is a deep turquoise jelly base with blue to purple to gold multichrome magnetic shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Do I Look Like A Scoundrel?

Do I Look Like a Scoundrel To You? is a cobalt to purple to red sheer shimmer base with black to blue to purple multichrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

If you have a strong or fairly strong VNL – it will show through with this polish.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | You’re Not That Weird

You’re Not That Weird is a semi sheer, soft sage green jelly base with glowy blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a sheerer polish and if you have a strong VNL – it may show through.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | An Act Of Wrath

An Act of Wrath is a strawberry pinkish red jelly with green to blue to purple shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Your Golden Traitor

Your Golden Traitor is a semi sheer golden yellow jelly base with strong gold to green to aqua to pink shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The base of this one is on the sheer side but the stronger shimmer gives more of an illusion of opacity.

This is a smaller particle than Dreamer Born Into a Court of Nightmares, and has a stronger shift than the Oracle.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Demeter (Magnetic)

Demeter is a deep grape purple jelly base with gold to green multichrome magnetic pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | We Will Not Take His Sh*t

We Will Not Take His Sh*t is a mid-toned almost orchid purple crelly with glowy to green to blue shimmer. It isn’t quite as pink leaning in person as my photos show, it’s toned down a bit. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a warmer purple than Doomicorn

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Do You Need Me To Kill Someone for You? (Reflective Glitter & UP Pigment)

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | One Million Perfect Roses (Reflective Glitter and UP Sibling Pigment)

One Million Perfect Roses is a clear base loaded with green to blue sibling UP shimmer with ruby light reflective glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a sheerer polish than prior reflective glitter shades BKL has created. It can be used as a topper or built up as a stand alone shade.

This is a UP polish and will NOT be part of a full collection listing. You will need to add this separately.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Where Are The Dead Bodies? (Reflective Glitter and UP Sibling Pigment)

Where Are The Dead Bodies? is a clear base with gold to green sibling UP shimmer, with sky blue light reflective glitter.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The Lore Olympus Collection

I really love the colors offered in this release, but I did notice these were much sheerer than the past few releases. Many of them will show VNL unless you use a blurring base coat or a base color. Many can double as toppers as well or build up as a stand alone shade.

My top picks: You’re Not That Weird, I Need A Positive Navigator, An Act of Wraith, Persephone and We Will Not Take His Sh*t … in that order.

Please remember – if you want to buy the full 12 piece collection, it will not all be in 1 listing. Add the “collection” but then individually add Do You Need Me To Kill Someone For You?, One Million Perfect Roses and Where Are The Dead Bodies? The UP polishes will NOT be included with full collection as they are not to be discounted.

Price: $13.00 – $16.00 Each (UP and Sibling UP are $16)

I’m tapped out on sheer polishes and VNL. I love Act of Wrath though. You know what I’m not over? UP or reflective glitter!

Every time I’m thinking “that’s enough reflective glitter” more comes in and I’m like “Okay just kidding!”
