Happy Thursday! I have the Bee’s Knees Lacquer Heartless Hunter Collection as well as the Organ Donation polish on the blog to share today!
The Heartless Hunter Collection was originally a 9 piece collection, but one shade wasn’t performing as BKL would have hoped, so they did pull it. If you’ve seen Minora around – that’s why it’s not in this post and it won’t be in the shop.
So now we have an 8 piece collection and the 9th shade shown in the collage is the Organ Donation shade.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Majora
Majora is a mid toned peach jelly base with strong green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The Crimson Moth
The Crimson Moth is a brick red jelly base with glowy green to blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Earth Sunderer
Earth Sunderer is a grungy olive green toned brown jelly base with strong purple to pink shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ghost Walker is a pale grey jelly with strong purple to pink shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Be Like The Mimic Spider
Be Like The Mimic Spider is a charcoal grey jelly base with strong teal to blue shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Mirage
Mirage is a mid toned lilac purple jelly base with green to blue shifting shimmer and silver reflective glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Casting
Casting is a clear base loaded with pink to gold shifting shimmer and silver light reflective gitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Arcana
Arcana is a red to gold multichrome base loaded with violet to blue magnetic pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I only magnetized the middle and ring nails to show it both way.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Grateful
Grateful is the Organ Donation polish. This is a new charity collab run by Christina Ferrario. April is national organ donation month, and like the BTA collab, polishes will be sold through the individual maker websites. Makers are also choosing their own charities related to organ donation, and BKL will be donating all profits to the Doorways, a free lodging facility for patients and families that helped us when my father received his transplants. Grateful is a deep smokey purple crelly base with purple to pink shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Heartless Hunter Collection
I really enjoyed this collection but it felt very… late Summer to Fall for me, which isn’t a bad thing. I like when collections are a little different for the season. Application was wonderful too.
