Happy Monday! It’s been a long weekend and I’m super tired and sore… but I have several posts to do this week! First up is the Bee’s Knees Lacquer House of Sky and Breath Collection!

The Bee’s Knees Lacquer House of Sky and Breath Collection is a 12 piece multichrome collection. 6 of them are larger particle straight multichrome shades with no additional fluff. The other 6 are the same multichromes but with the additional fluff of reflective glitter! I will have a separate post for 4 of the mystery polishes. There are 14 mysteries total – all in mystery bags. 7 will be Shimmer Mystery Bag polishes and 7 will be Unicorn Pee and Light Reflective Glitter Mystery bags. More info on those at the bottom and my reveal for the ones I received will be posted later today.

I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I work during the day and weekend afternoons I’m with Nick and Jacob, so I do most swatching when the sun is setting or gone. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

I did not use any base color (undies) for these photos because these multichromes did not need them. For all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base Coat, which I bought but I do admin for the brand, and for top coat I used Vibrant Vinyls Fast & Hard Top Coat, which I received as PR for Polish Pickup and I mod for her Facebook group as well.

For reflective polish photos – I only used my camera flash. It was taken in low light with a my camera (Nikon Coolpix L830)

Okay so these release on April 29th for Preorder and will be available until approximately May 4th. Let’s jump in and take a look!

All of these multichromes are large particle multichromes. What does that mean? To me it means it will look more like a shimmery multichrome vs a smooth liquid like multichrome. There will also be less brush strokes visible. That’s the best way I can word it.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Approachable Asshole

When I unwrapped these polishes… this one made me laugh and think “THAT’S ME!”

Anyways… Approachable Asshole is a gold to green to blue large particle multichrome. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Super Powerful and Special Magic Starborn Princess (Reflective Glitter)

Super Powerful and Special Magic Starborn Princess is a large particle multichrome that shifts from gold to green to blue with purple light reflective glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Captain Whatever

Captain Whatever is a large particle multichrome that shifts from a rusty copper to gold to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

While you can see green and blue in the bottle, I barely saw any green on the nails – there were hints at extreme angles – but the primary shades on the nail will be the copper to gold shift.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Autumn Queen (Reflective Glitter)

Autumn Queen is a large particle multichrome that shifts from a rusty copper to gold to green, with aqua light reflective glitters mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Rebel Where You Can

Rebel When You Can is a large particle multichrome that shifts blue to purple to coppery red. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Dusk’s Truth (Reflective Glitter)

Dusk’s Truth is a large particle multichrome that shifts blue to purple to coppery red, with yellow light reflective glitters mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Prince of Nothing

Prince of Nothing is a large particle multichrome that shifts from warm purple to pink to coppery red to gold. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Hello Bryce Quinlan (Reflective Glitter)

Hello Bryce Quinlan is a large particle multichrome that shifts from warm purple to pink to coppery red to gold with emerald green light reflective glitter mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | We’ll Carve Our Own Paths

We’ll Carve Our Own Paths is a large particle multichrome that shifts pink to gold to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Our Love Spans Across Stars and Worlds (Reflective Glitter)

Our Love Spans Across Stars and Worlds is a large particle multichrome that shifts pink to gold to green with sapphire light reflective glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | A Magical Leech

A Magical Leech is a large particle multichrome that shifts emerald green to blue to purple to pink. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Time To Level Up (Reflective Glitter)

Time To Level Up is a large particle multichrome that shifts emerald green to blue to purple to pink with ruby red light reflective glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | House of Sky and Breath Collection

I do like the whole reflective glitter and non reflective glitter variations so you have the same polish with and without depending on your preference. I like both variations since I’m team reflective glitter, but also a multichrome lover.

I did notice that for multichromes I used 3 thin coats (most could probably reach opacity in 2 normal to thick coats though) and since the reflect glitter versions are a thicker consistency, I only needed 2 coats.

Price: $13.00 – $13.50 Each

You have seen a lot of multichromes in your 10 years blogging. Of these 12, which stood out to you as unique? Thanks!

The light reflect glitter ones are unique. As far as the straight multichrome shades – I have seen pretty much all of these shifts before in a range of pigment particle. While pretty and shifty – I wouldn’t say any of the color shifts are unique to my collection though
