Press Samples // Sponsored

Happy Tuesday! While I’m doing some more swatching and watching Netflix, I decided to also do a post showing 8 of the Buzzmas 2021 and Ships 2.0 polishes I received.

The Ships 2.0 polishes were also part of Buzzmas 2021, which is why they are all in the same post. While these are not guaranteed to rerelease – they can be requested for Respawn, in which case – here are more photos to consider for it. Multiple swatchers each received some, so there are more to see. I know The Polished Koi showed some on their blog that I hadn’t seen yet – so check that post out too if you haven’t already.

Also … just a side note. I got The Witcher collection in and… yum.

Okay onto the Buzzmas 2021 and Ships 2.0 swatches!

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Bryaxis

Bryaxis is a black cherry crelly base with red to green to gold unicorn pee pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Chrysalis

Chrysalis is one of my favorites from this set. This is a pale steely blue crelly base with green to blue shimmer and holo micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Elucian

Elucian was inspired by Elain and Lucien. Elucian is a soft pink jelly base with large particle pastel multichrome shimmer flecks that shift red to orange to gold to green and blue at extreme angles. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is fairly sheer and if you have a strong VNL, it will show.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Gwynriel

Gwynriel is inspired by Gwyn and Azriel. Gwynriel is a periwinkle jelly base with large particle pastel multichrome shimmer that shifts gold to green to blue. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is on the sheer side as well and if you have strong VNL – it will probably show through.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Helnik

Helnik is inspired by Nina and Matthias. Helnik is a light-medium blue jelly base with large particle pastel multichrome shimmer that shifts red to purple to pink and gold at extreme angles. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This leans sheer, but it’s not as sheer as Elucien or Gwynriel.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Manorian

Manorian is inspired by Manon and Dorian. Manorian is a sheer coral pink jelly base loaded with large particle pastel multichrome shimmer that shifts aqua to purple to pink. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Again – this is sheer, so VNL will most likely be seen through it.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Quinalar

Quinalar was inspired by Bryce and Hunt. Quinalar is a soft orange jelly base loaded with large particle pastel multichrome shimmer that shifts reddish pink to orange to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is on the sheerish side, but the shimmer helps give the impression of opacity, so depending on your coats – you may be able to hide the VNL.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The Iron Triangle

The Iron Triangle was inspired by Shimin, Yizhi and Xetian. The Iron Triangle is a deep violet jelly base with green to aqua to pink to purple iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Buzzmas 2021 & Ships 2.0

Again – there is no set restock date – however they can be requested for Respawn.

I really like the ones I received – they are all within the colors I’d typically gravitate towards if I were to purchase them. The only one I was iffy on was Quinalar since it’s not a color that typically works on my skin tone… however – I was proven wrong when I put it on.

Chrysalis and Gwynriel are my top 2 of the 8 I received.

Hope you enjoyed and I’ll be back in about a week (I think) with The Witcher shades to share.
