Girly Bits Arctic Sunrise Swatches and Review

Girly Bits Arctic Sunrise Swatches and Review

Happy Sunday!  I have a little sneak peek at an unreleased polish for you today!  You all know how much I absolutely LOVE Girly Bits (The creator Pam is a complete sweetheart and her customer service is seriously top notch!) and I was thrilled to receive Arctic Sunrise in to swatch!

Arctic Sunrise:

Arctic Sunrise is a gorgeous, vibrant light blue with a chunkier pink shimmer throughout.  I used 3 coats for this photo and a top coat.  The color you see in the bottle translates to the nail perfectly!  The pink shimmer is strong and you don’t need light for it to jump out at you.  Absolutely gorgeous!  Dry time was fairly fast (3-4 minutes per coat) .

Arctic Sunrise will be available through Llarowe’s Shop HERE as well as in Girly Bits Big Cartel Shop HERE within the next few weeks, so keep an eye out!

***The product in this post was sent to me for review.  All opinions are my own***

Girly Bits Star Spangled and Mother May I?

Girly Bits Star Spangled and Mother May I?

I already posted these pictures on Facebook, but I need to do a review on these lovelies!

On Girly Bits last restock I managed to frantically snag 5 of her newest polishes.   The two I will be showing off today are Star Spangled and Mother May I?  These were the main 2 I was after, and sadly only got a mini Mother May I?  but I guarantee I will have a full size as soon as humanly possible!

Ok enough rambling – on with the review!

Mother May I?

Mother May I? is described as a medium purple base with aqua squares, red squares, blue, turquoise, pink, purple, opal and aqua hexes in various sizes.  I used 2 coats for this mani and a top coat.  All of the glitter laid flat and I didn’t have to fish for anything.  I got a good amount of glitter out with little to no effort!  My only gripe?  I don’t have this in a full size bottle!

Star Spangled

This one is just.. ugh.. so damn gorgeous.  This picture is done with indoor lighting.  In the sunlight it DAZZLES.  Star Spangled is described as a blue jelly, loaded with red and blue glitter, and red bar glitter.   I only used 2 coats of Star Spangled for this mani.  The amazing part is that with all of that glittery goodness packed in.. it isn’t gritty or rough on the nails!  I added a top coat and my nails were smooth and by touch, you wouldn’t think there was any glitter in it.  The glitter in this has almost a 3-D effect when you look at it.  If you have a chance to get this – DO IT.

When I placed this order there was a slight wait for the package, I knew it would take longer than normal because it was coming from Canada but the shop owner also became ill and understandably could NOT get her massive amount of shipping out of the door – BUT an amazing thing about Pam is that if you follow her blog as well as Facebook page… you got updates of shipping etc.  I am fine with a delayed package, I am not ok when the package is delayed and there is no word from the seller – so THANK YOU PAM for keeping your buyers up to speed on what was going on!

Girly Bits can be found in 3 online shops (that  I am aware of).  You can find her polishes through the Girly Bits Shop, Llarowe’s Shop or through Harlow & Co.’s Shop!  If you follow her on Facebook (link HERE) as well as on her Blog (link HERE)  you should be able to find out when her next restock is!

I currently own 11 Girly Bit’s Nail Polishes and I adore each one!
